I'm still more looking forward to when the ADs for the game start rather than the onslaught of reviews for it. The reviews already are teetering the game towards close perfection in the FPS genre, so I don't care how long I have to wait to read the inevitable.
There's really very little most Killzone 2 fanatics don't know about the game already, so it seems near impossible someone could have any major gripes with the game to knock it below a 9.
Well anyways, here...
I've always said if Treyarch and EPIC games got together to make a game it'd blow our minds how terrible it is. I'm sure they'd have the campaign filled with nonstop chainsaw grenades, that upon detonation heat seek through everyone and everything to cut you to pieces. Of course 50 of them would drop at once.
The online would be unplayable and filled with bugs upon bugs. However, it will be really simple to play and revolve around just 1 button. They will then start marketing t...
Adam Sessler on X-Play was actually mad about this enough to say something around the lines of,"Square Enix why not join us in the 21st century, and when you do try and bring a good game with you." Lol pretty big burn coming from a middle age creepy balding guy.
He does have a point though, because SE is slowly losing their grip on fans. You can only remake your classics so many times and putting out poor two new IP's before we realize why your president left you. (I ...
Aww Orio you are cute when you try to sound like you know what you're talking about. :)
I own both systems and have played more than my fair share of online games on both. Resistance 2 has 30 Vs 30 online with NO lag E V E R! I have yet to have ANY lag in that game. Here's another example, a game called Metal Gear Online. No lag there either for me. Want another one? Socom Confrontation. Since that last patch I'm lag free, but I can't speak for everyone on that game.

This is the only 360 game of 2009 I am heavily excited to play. So far 2009 exlusives really belong to the PS3 to get hyped on.
Seems Microsoft is going to try to ride the year out on multiplatform games, but try to get a little extra DLC for each that Sony can't touch.
I do hope though that 360 hits up more exlusives this year that actually look enjoyable, because Halo spin offs aren't even on my rental list let alone must buy. :/
I don't know what happened to all the PS2 folks who should've bought a PS3 by this point. I mean anyone who owned a PS2 I'm sure was pleased by plenty of hit exlusive games that were of the highest quality for their time. Nothing has changed in that regard that the PS3 exlusive games are REALLY good games if their reviews were high.
The 360 doesn't even have that many exlusives and the ones there are never really make me sit back and add them to my favorites of all time list.

More gameplay footage and perhaps more characters being revealed would be nice.
If it's the same stuff again though I'll be kinda miffed SE wastes not only our time, but their own with this crud. They could be spending wasteful hours into productive hours to get the game out sooner. ;)
IGN didn't do this interview lol. All they did was rip off the other site who DID do the interview and claim it as theirs. That is mad weak stuff...
I don't care which console it comes out for, because I own both. ;)
I'm just so excited to hear they are finally working on the sequel. This is the best news for 2009 since Killzone 2. Wooh! Cannot wait. :D
People should be shot for saying "X game will kill X game." It just means you are a fanboy and not even a clever one at that.
Halo does some great things and I understand completely why plenty of people play it daily. For me though I put it down a month after its release for COD4.
My biggest gripes with Halo might be that there's no run feature and that the weapon balance really isn't there. It just doesn't end up being that fun or satisfying, but again...
I hate the "horror" genre of games, but I absolutely LOVED Dead Space. Why can't developers learn from the ones that do it well? I mean Dead Space took pages from RE and other areas to make an outstanding package.
Dead Space is now the new horror game king. RE is and has always been for me, mediocre attempts at games. Most of them have been 7/10's in my book, because they don't try to advance their game any further. There's only so many times you can play the same thi...
I played through each level about 4 times each today with a friend on Co-Op online today.
My verdict? It sucks other than graphics, but even those have problems in the demo. In the second level, the first roof top before the big main building you can flip up to. There is some clothes being dryed on a wire there, such as a few shirts and a bed sheet. You actually just bump right into them as if they were a wall. That's not nex gen at all.
The controls are horrible...
I own both a PS3 and 360.
The only things that PS3 is lacking for PSN is:
1)Private chats during games when you play.
2) A party chat feature to talk to more friends at once while playing.
3) A bigger selection of themes and gamerpictures would be appreciated
4) If Sony would take the load off the developers to have to make their own features to invite people into games. Sony needs to just make it easier for people to group up on whatever MP ...
I hate people who play easy or normal for that matter.
This doesn't look like he's playing on hard or above, but I could be wrong. Well maybe my real beef is the fact he sucks at being effective at a FPS.
Also whoever stated this isn't new footage the end of it is. You get a small chunk of a new checkpoint/chapter sequence in the last few seconds, so maybe avoid that part at the end.
Other than the video being old I went and read all of it pretty fast.
The spoilers weren't spoilers. It was just him talking about the length of each of the missions and he can only talk about the first 6 missions. He didn't even talk about the missions in ANY detail. It's like he barely paid attention to the game as he played.
The last 2 pages of it were just him and some other people rambling on about old consoles and food. Completely a waste of time to anyone....
We all know the only major flaw with the first was repetitivity. The rest of it is a very outstanding game, especially the story. I can't wait to see where this games universe goes.
It'll be a dang shame though if they don't learn from the first. It'll make it way too hard to play through it to enjoy the story and that's where to me this game really shines. The first is def. a rental, but I don't recommend anyone buying it. Too short to justify the price tag.
The only problem with the PS3 is the price. I own a PS3 and a 360, but sold my Wii a while ago.
The Wii isn't made for a gamer like me. I need games I can play day in day out, and usually I'm competitive in that department. The Wii wasn't made to be an online machine which is fine, but it didn't even up the graphical prowess of the Gamecube by any margin. The motion controls are cool, but the only game I felt it made the experience much better was with Zelda.

Private chat that works while you are playing in game.
The ability to talk to more than one person from your friends list at the same time in a chat room, without leaving your game.
An easier way to invite people into games to play with you.
That's really all PSN lacks. Get on it Sony. I can't believe it has taken you this long to even realize you need this.
I'm still new to my PS3, but I haven't found a way to private chat a person on my friends list during a game. I wish they would include that simple feature when they do these updates to the PS3. I know I know, "go play your 360 then", but it's really a pain when I'm playing my PS3 to have my 360 on too so I can talk to friends easier.
Usually if I plan to play a PS3 game with a friend we have to boot up our 360's first to talk until we can get together in a lobby/part...
I'm glad they let you unlock things this way so you can focus more on your own play style. It doesn't force you to unlock the other abilities for classes you won't play if you don't want, but it also entices you to try playing in matches differently so you can customize your abilities more to suit your needs.
It's not overly in depth, or long lasting, but it will provide a fun appeal for a while. I just like they avoid the COD idea of prestige which is completely meaningless or...
