Wow the in game graphics even on cam are impressive. The regular FF13 in game isn't anything WOW, but this is def. WOW stuff.

I was hoping for it free, because 2 maps is still not something one should charge for unless you do 2 maps + other content. Since the patch coming with is free and the maps cost cash, then I honestly will skip the maps.

I must be the only one who doesn't think this game looks ugly seeing as I'm sure 90% of you didn't play the demo on your HDTV's. The game is a great looking 3rd person shooter. When you destroy something or blow something up in this game it is really astounding.
For anyone unsure about this game or completely written it off----TRY THE DEMO. If you can't get around to that then rent it when it releases.

I played the Yakuza 3 Japanese demo and I know it wouldn't sell or review well in the western world.
There's too much to pick apart and we here in the USA pick hard at quality, while the Japanese aren't too high strung on it as of late.
I would love to be wrong about this if they do bring it over, but I see no chance of it going over well when it comes to the west.

I get the different culture of the Japanese, and have played more JRPGs than I can probably count. I've watched several animes(not big on it), but I'd say I'm pretty liking of Japanese culture.

GT5 should be saved up as an ace in the hole. If this year after E3 and everything else slated for winter of 2009 doesn't do a giant catch up for consoles sales, then drop GT5 Summer of 2010.

All this game NEEDS is prolonged rewards. I know for myself I played Gears of War for 6 months solid because of the Seriously achivement so I could have 1000/1000G on it. In multiplayer games achivements/trophies like that just feel satisfying to accomplish.

Cell shading is a great art form for games. Valkyria Chronicles using it just fit like a glove and it being done in any other way would've been skewed if you ask me.

This game has a solid 50+ hours of gameplay if you do a bit of exploring along the way on 360, but once you complete it the lack of secret dungeons means it's over.

After checking out the website I can say this looks promising in just art style and mature theme alone. The girl character doesn't look like an anime ho, and the lead character reminds me of Rubedo from Xenosaga which is a good thing.
We already know from other screens that the game will be a third person action rpg, so it should be a fresh take on a JRPG.
