I'm a long Star Ocean fan. Star Ocean The Second Story for the original playstation is still my favorite game to date.
Star Ocean till the end of time butchered the series to death for me because you find out everything ever going on in any of the star ocean games is just a virtual world---Videogame. HUGE let down.
Star Ocean though isn't so much for the story, although they are solid. It's really all about the depth of battles, leveling, item creation, and the c...
I didn't think we'd hear about MAG again until late 2010. That game has a lot of explaining to do in how they want to manage 256 people online at once.
That'll be the one game at this years GDC or E3 that I'll want more information on.
So much fail here just to produce hits on your site. This is worse than BS rumor headlines or rating big AAA games low scores.
I wish everytime someone did something like this they got shot in their junk.
I really want to know how these questions were going to be used for MSNBC. There doesn't seem to be a way you could use these questions without malicious intent towards Sony's product.
What happened MysteryJournalist...you can't afford a PS3 now, but Killzone 2 is all you can think about? You are on your 4th 360 and felt you'd do the only thing you could do to get some sort of purprose in your existence by bashing Sony.
I'm glad I'm on my first 360 since I bought...
The game is 40-50 hours on a FAST play through. Which means every 10ish hours you'd have to get off your bum to switch discs if you aren't doing any side questing.
People are dumb to ever mark a game as, "bad" due to multiple discs. You must be new to RPGs and didn't own a PS1 ever huh? Didn't touch Lost Odyessy either I assume?
Seriously why do people have to comment on game genres that don't entice them. If you don't like JRPGs, then go to where you b...
Lost Planet 2
Megaman Game
Breath of Fire
Devil May Cry 5?
Out of all those, the idea of a new Breath of Fire would make my brain explode with win. The world is lacking solid RPGs on all this generations console's that aren't handheld and a new Breath of Fire game would make me go giddy.
Just looked up some vids for the game and this def. isn't a mmo that would sell well if at all stateside. That's just my guess, but either way it just doesn't look as fun mmo wise as something like FFXI, WoW, EQ, Ragnarok, Lineage 2, etc.
I'm more excited to hear about the new FF MMO project that's been under major secrecy from Square, but is supposedly going to be finally let out to the public to know its existence come this E3. I hope that's true, because FFXI stole 6 years o...
As far as I know the Japanese are what started videogames for me. From NES up to PS2, the majority of my money has been shelled out to Japanese developed games.
It's only THIS generation that I've felt a huge slack from Japan. The main reason is because the majority of the developers I look forward to seeing games from are either not working on anything that we the consumer know about or they are busy on some other type of IP.
I want:
This generation Suiko...
The game looks promising. That's pre alpha footage I'm sure. The graphics and the sound so far in this footage was superb. I really enjoyed the flesh tearing on that boss.
Game looks like Bioshock meets Dead Space for some reason.
Sony needs to fund this project to the end, because if this is what it looks like far from compeltion it could really deliver a great new IP.
Crud. Now I feel I need to scramble together to join a serious clan. I'd love having people watching live streams of me fragging it up for 1 million valour point games. :P
I personally loved Legend of Dragoon. I always hoped for a sequel, but even hoped harder for a MMO version that took place during the Dragon Wars. Holy smokes would that be wild. :P
I have two other friends who'd die if I passed on news of Legend of Dragoon 2 finally being announced. :)
If they HAD tried to convince people t his was her real room I would've lmaoed. Glad they said it was just made for a photo shoot, because no one buys the same exact posters like 3 times each for Halo Wars.
Makes sense they'd pick an airhead big chested girl to promote Halo Wars though, because everyone else with brain cells knows this game is major fail.
Dag nabbit! I had recently sold my Wii lol. Looks like I'll have to borrow my friends thanks to this game. I loves me some Dead Space. :)
I really love the weapon and armor art style. Everything just "feels" heroic when you look at it.
I'll def. rent it if it gets a mixed bag of reviews here in the USA, but I'll buy it if they lean towards a 7+.
All I know is from the scan it says the first 3 hours are the real knock off of SO4. It also has poor voice acting.
That's not enough to discourage me in a game that will be 70+ hours of gameplay if you explore and do the extra dungeons. That's about 1/20th of the game. While I do feel Star Ocean Till the End of Time completely ruined the series with letting you know it's all in a virtual world/videogame/Matrix, I don't feel I would write this JRPG series out. The majority of t...
Personally for me RE5 Demo on 360 sucked, but on my PS3 it was top notch. Why? It had to do with how the controls sensitivity and aim was way more fluid and spot on for PS3. On 360 I always felt I was struggling with them and couldn't enjoy the demo, but on PS3 it was like an almost new game to me. Why this is, is not certain for me, but people who own both consoles and only tried the 360 version SHOULD redownload it on PS3 to give it a try. You might come away surprised like I did.

I'm frequent on the Killzone 2 forums and reading what one of the developer's named Seb has to say about the game when we ask questions. The official reply from Guerrilla Games is, that the demo which is an old build from 2008, is the colprut for some.
I didn't experience issues at all with it, but I would not put it off that an older build of a demo could've been bugged up somehow for some. A LOT of people downloaded it at the same time the same day, and something could've hap...
Carb and Budget just won the internet with their comments.
I wish Bungie and all other FPS developers a lot of luck in surpassing Killzone 2's well done polishing of the FPS genre.
@maverick.
LMFAO.
Fanboyism aside on both sides you have to admit that was pretty funny. Especially the toot sound at the end. Hahaha.
I remember when I did a lot of research on this game weekly, but after a while my interest just died out due to lack of new information.
Glad to see we'll see it this year. Hope for them that SquareEnix doesn't announce their new Final Fantasy MMO at E3 this year. If they do I'll pass up on Aion haha. I played Final Fantasy XI for 6 years as my MMO of choice, and a new FF MMO by the same development team will easily take another 6 without trying.
