Fable 2 getting good reviews was a joke to begin with. I remember going into the Fable 2 Xbox forums and wrote up my long review on it leading into like a 7/10 at most. I got blasted, but I backed everything up with sound reasoning.

I can only hope everyone who owns a PS3 in the midget town I live in all pre-order this game from Gamestop, because there is never a midnight release for PS3 games here due to not enough pre orders. Not even MGS4 had one. :(

I think the way IGN reviewed this game is the best mindset ever going into reviewing a game.
Review it for what it is and stop comparing it to other games. That doesn't tell people how the game is, it means you just want it to be something it isn't and didn't say it was going to be.

This is the game this console generation that will leave many gamers estatic with it down the road in terms of nostalgia.
It'll have that same effect Zelda's, Metal Gears, Marios, Half Life's, etc have had.
If you don't own a PS3 yet, you still have a month to scrape together the cash. Do whatever it takes, because according to the bombardmant of reviews today, this is worth every cent.
This seems really poorly written, so I'm just going to avoid it alltogether so I don't get a headache. :P

I love how people are whining about this game not getting higher than 9's/lack of 10's. Anyone can see this game is NEAR perfect, but isn't perfect. Most people will say no game ever is and that 10's are a joke. I agree, because this game you can already tell has minor flaws i.e. shortish campaign, some overly foul cheesy dialogue, knife and revive animations are lack luster, and well that's about it. That is enough though to keep it from perfect, but more along the lines of a 9.6ish in my op...

Dang that's a lot of chedda. I'm glad Sony is taking a big money risk with this game, because the world's reviews are already solidifying this as one of the best games ever. IGN AU said it's worth the price tag of getting a PS3 JUST to play this. That's huge praise.
I know I bought my PS3 just for Killzone in December. After that I've convinced 5 friends off of Xbox Live to do the same, because this game is worth every single cent. :)
We are officially at the point where the world full of people with brains attached to their spinal cords KNOW Killzone 2 is flippin amazing on all levels. This is just another review to prove that.
I believe IGN or IGN AU's review today said it's definetly worth buying a PS3 for just to play...that's astronomical praise to say 400 for a console, 50 for the game, and probably 50 for the headset. Wow.
I dig it.
