"Im using the Wii U as an example is that somehow taboo now?"
No but it's kinda off topic and not really a reply to anything I said in my comment. The doom articles for Wii U are just not relevant here.
If MS flash their cash at third parties then maybe but the relatively low install base for both consoles at first will make it expensive to buy exclusivity. I doubt most publishers will just ignore PS4 no matter how badly they want used games gone, there's just too much money to be made with Sony's platforms. Although I could see Activision being tempted to take the 'evil' Microsoft route here, since they are already in and out of bed together.
Sony always...
Maybe, I'm not really familiar with the site, it just seemed suspicious to me.
My readiness level is OVER 9000!!!!
Who said anything about Wii U?
Hey mods, do you think it's suspicious that at least three articles about this game with hardly any comments have generated a lot of heat?
You're probably on the case though, keep up the good work.
How can you score a game without having an opinion? A review that doesn't tell you whether a game is good or bad, in the writers opinion, is not much of a review at all.
If you were 100% neutral you'd likely be some kind of emotionless robot. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, has an opinion and, whether they choose to aknowledge that fact or not, it will always effect their judgements.
From what I read on N4G there are more people whining about fanboys than there are fanboys.
Whatever the case may be it's, 9 times out of ten, pretty off topic.
Incidently, on topic, it looks like Sony have some pretty neat features that they want to make centre stage come launch day, can't wait to see what they have.
This looks pretty cool, considering I only clicked for the pic.
It's been out less than one year and calls for its death have rung nonstop in the media.
This won't stop Sony supporting the device and gamers from buying it at a slow but steady pace. Sales will pick up with price drops, as they always do,and Vita will go on to sell as much as PSP, if not more.
I'm with Peter, well said.
If this is true, it'll be a ten ton hammer for Sony to wield on launch.
@andi The PS4 will print BigMacs
Yeah, I don't know why they took a shot at the trophy hunter communities, most are extremely helpful and friendly. I know I for one wouldn't have half the plats I do now if not for them.
Yeah because one or two Sony trolls speak for the whole of N4G.
If people could see beyond their personal bias they'd see this place ain't all that bad, far from perfect though :P
I have this plat, does anyone know if people in EU will get this message? Also is it a PSN message or an email?
Good to know Sony is recognising my hard work :)
They failed hard and Sony will not repeat the same mistakes twice and make it easy for MS next gen.
If you're going to punch a titan make sure he stays down in one punch... or run.
I think two tier would be an excellent idea as long as they are both capable of playuing the same games at the same quality.
An extra SKU with backwards compatibility for those people who absolutely must play games they are already playing right now would be a welcome addition.
If the rumours are true we can expect:
- Slightly less powerful than PS4
- Possibly blocking used games
- Constant online connection required
- Kinect 2, possibly mandatory (bundled)
- Strong focus on media features
- Usual suspects (Halo, Forza etc)
The rumor mill certainly doesn't paint a pretty picture, let's hope MS has something special up their sleeve.
I could be wrong but wasn't the original Xbox slighty better, hardware-wise, than PS2?
Built in HDD, reliable, great performance. Not sure how MS ended up going so wrong with 360, guess it paid off for them though.
Edit: Damn someone beat me to it.
