I quite liked Red Dead Redemption, but my problem with it, and with GTA games as well, is that they cannot hold my attention long enough. In fact, Red Dead Redemption is one that I played for a long time compared to any of the GTAs, but I still never finished it. It is a great game though, but imo, Rockstar needs to make their games a little more targeted.
With that said though, I love Fallout, Skyrim, and Borderlands, and don't see myself stopping playing games like them...
There isn't an age limit, but I believe there is a crap-ness limit. For example, Barbie games can only be for little children and no one else.
Smartest thing anyone has ever said on N4G.
Yeah it will come with a slot because the 250 and 500gb are the exact same model. If the model looked different, that wouldn't case.

:D But really, it is awesome.
Lol, but true.
Also, what kind of idiot gets rid of his console 8 times??!? Unless you've had 8 PS3s YLOD on you, it's just stupid from a every perspective to keep selling and buying PS3s. (I would also say the same about every other console).
There was scheduled maintenance I think.
Well once you've played a game, you can delete it. It is still linked to your account, so you can download it whenever you want again. Also, so far, I don't think there has been a game for PS Plus that has multiplayer online that would keep you going for a long time i.e. MW-like.
I get what you are saying, but the simple fact is, you don't need to pay for PS Plus if you don't want, and the online is free. Once you've bought a subscription, then of course ...
PS4 will NOT cost $1000 to produce. The only reason PS3 cost so much was because it had brand new technology such as Blu-Ray and Cell Processor chip, and also had the Emotion Engine chip from PS2 to provide BC. This time Sony will just have an improved, faster Blu-Ray drive, and a more off-the-shelf-like processor, meaning it will be a lot cheaper to produce.
Personally, I disagree with every single franchise on this list. As long as they can create a new and good experience, then I'd be fine with a few more games in each franchise. I just wish Pokemon would do more in each iteration of the game, it seems to be the same thing over and over again.
@darth -
1. The main part of PSN is still free, this is an addition to it. You don't NEED it to play online, which is the case for XBL.
2. After one year, you are very unlikely to be playing the same game, and most likely you will have completed and deleted the game from your HDD within 3 months.
It will almost definitely be good. Darksiders 1 was awesome, and DS2 looks just as good if not better.
This story has nothing to do with gaming, and "Yes it does because Online gaming exists" doesn't cut it.
@sorceror - Yeh, very contradictory isn't it. I never pay full price for games, except for I think MGS4 when it released. Every other game I wait, at least a couple of weeks for the prices to drop.
PS3 was well worth buying at the price it launched at, and if you couldn't afford it, you simply wait. I had to do that with my PS1 and PS2, which I bought both two years after they launched.
Patience is a virtue.
Yeah, Sony discounts there own games on the Vita store by 10%, so they could easily do this with physical copies of games they sell themselves. Obviously they wouldn't be able to do this with third-party games.
The truth is, the old Xbox 360's are very unreliable and it's not a case of "if" your 360 will RROD, it's more a case of "when" will your 360 RROD. The new slims are of course much more reliable, but it took 5 years for MS to get to a point where they could offer a reliable piece of hardware, which is ridiculous.
@RedHemi - Same thing could be said about PS3. It hasn't really had a price drop to the same level of the 360 since MS released the Xbox 360 S. So my point is still 100% true and valid whenever the price of the consoles is exactly the same, PS3 sells more.
@above - So the main gist of that "apology" is that they were looking for confirmation on the existence of Versus, which Square Enix didn't give. If they had replied, Kotaku would have run a story like "Square Enix Confirms FF Versus XIII Still Alive". But because they didn't, they made up some bullshit rumor, and posted it because they took the lack of a reply as confirmation.
Kotaku are even more idiotic than I first thought.
You're not sounding too mature yourself tbh Andre
1. It is very likely to have a HDD slot, especially if the form factor of the console is the same as the 250GB and 500GB versions.
2. Even if it doesn't, it will still sell well with casuals.
3. The multi-SKU approach means the consumers can choose what to buy and to some extent at what price. If they had a single premium model, which they have been doing with there Bravias, that would be hardware suicide, because Sony's TV business is in huge trouble...
