@Captain - Pocky is right. They haev a certain marketing plan, which is why the embargo was set in the first place.
Excel spreadsheet with list of games = information?
I actually quite like the look of it, especially from the gameplay trailer. Movement looks a little too fast and unrealistic, but other than it looks good imo. Especially good for Capcom, whose new IPs kinda suck.
This is a megaton if they announce a sequel or remake.
Quite bad news for Nintendo and third party publishers I'd guess, but at least it's on track for the US.
But it's $99, and it connects up to your TV and comes with a games controller. That's quite a lot to differentiate it from many android devices.
On topic - I absolutely agree that the Ouya will be used for piracy. However, if developers partner with Ouya, they can force micro-transactions on their apps which support the game controller. So you won't really be able to download the hacked app from a tablet version, and put it on the Ouya and play it with the control...
KZ2 and 3 stories were Shakespearean masterpieces compared to Crysis 2's story, which was almost non-existent.
TBH, when he answered any other question, he specifically denied or actually answered the question. When he was asked about Vita, he referred to GamesCom.
No way it'll be at GamesCom, though it could possibly be announced at a PlayStation day in January, but still also is unlikely.
It's just stupid to walk to a place when you can fast travel to it, that's the whole point of fast travel!
Woah, Wii got quite a boost, did something good release for it?
It's not even it's first year, it's the first few months because it came out in late February, and is of course more expensive than the 3DS. Plus, DS has sold like crazy in the US, it's no wonder that people would upgrade to the next Nintendo handheld.
I hope the Vita sells well during the holiday, because it is a great device, but it needs games.
You can also look at it another way though, and that is that if only 20% of people who buy your game play the entire thing, that means the majority of people never finished your game. So you wasted time and money developing this game that only one-fifth of people finished. I'm sure that there are some long games that people complete, i.e. Skyrim (Platinum FTW), but from a developer perspective, it's better to make a game that's half as long as what they'd normally make and get...
The stupid thing about all these articles is that the PS Vita hasn't had a full holiday's worth of sales, and it is well known that Sony decided to go for a soft launch for the device in March.
If it doesn't sell well in the holiday period, with a big title such as COD, then it is in trouble.
Also, if we see a PS3 remodel at GamesCom, I don't think PlayStation will have much to worry about for the next year.
@1.1.4 - It's a LOT less though, no denying that is there?
I prefer PSN over XBL for two reasons:
1. I don't HAVE to pay to play online.
2. I don't have to listen to ignorant and racist comments from stupid kids.
Sony may need to improve stuff like match-making, but that's all they need to change, not the pricing model!
It's more an issue of nobody wants to talk to Kotaku any more because of leaks like this, that's why they just end up creating bullshit rumors.
There were two twins in Infinite Undiscovery that were REALLY annoying. It was actually one of the reasons I stopped playing the game. There were also some annoying kids in Lost Odyssey, but they weren't as bad.
Graphically, it doesn't look that much better than the console versions, so I don't know why people focus on that. What matters more is the actual gameplay elements, which look awesome, although I loved the first game so I'm biased.
This game looks amazing for some reason. All of the stuff they've shown this conference is really unique. Why didn't they do this at E3???
