Actually, it is a very good idea to go exclusive to a platform if you are a new or small development team, because it means that you will be supported, like thatgamecompany. Now that they have experience, and funding, they can go multiplatform.
What exactly is wrong with any of these screens? They're not awful at all.
@mr_mike - Wow, you can't even read. Fanboy and gamer are not the same thing. One is an irrational idiot that believes whatever a company says and defends them to the death, the other is a person who enjoys playing games on whatever system.
A fan and a fanboy are two different things as well, if you meant to say fan, that's a different thing. You can be a fan without being irrational.
I never lost interest in Final Fantasy as a series, Square just messed it up. I'm hoping someone can still fix the series as a whole, and that Versus XIII will redeem it.
@mr_mike - So you think you are better than Sony fanboys because you have been a Nintendo fanboy longer?
LMAO. What's more sad is that you admitted you've been a fanboy for around 30 years, grow up.
@Sono - Happened to me too, means your hard drive is corrupted, and you need to replace the hard drive. If you don't have a backup, you will lose all your save data, but everything else such as trophies and game data can be re-downloaded.
Yes.
It's Xbox 360-only and was one of the very early games, so easy to miss. GREAT game though, if you like FF7-9, you will love Lost Odyssey
I thought the characters were not too bad, but I hate Gongorra's character design. It's just so terrible.
It is one of the best JRPGs this generation imo, a lot better than FF13 and FF13-2.
The current PS3 "slim" looks a lot better in person than when I saw images of it, so I've got no doubt that this will also look a lot better in person too. The big question is, what is the pricing going to be like? My guess is:
16GB- $199
250GB- $249
500GB- $299
But it would be even better if they went under the $199 mark.
Yeah, it was almost certain that Snake would be in it in some form because of the inclusion in SSBB.
It looks like the section that says PS3 on it slides to the left, maybe a new way to insert a disc?
Jason Statham and Vin Diesel aren't the best of actors tbh.
I think Christopher Judge would work quite well, and yeah, the make-up thing doesn't really matter because Kratos is covered in white ashes anyway.
Android is not a secure enough OS, every phone and tablet running Android has been hacked I believe.
@persistantthug- No one would win, except Microsoft, and that is all that MS care about. Even if they had to downsize, having COD exclusive would be massive, and that's not the only franchise that Activision and Blizzard have that is worth millions. Fact of the matter is, if MS own the controlling stake, they could do whatever they wanted to do.
Whether or not they would be allowed to buy Activision due to monopoly/competition laws is a completely different matter. But if...
TBH though, it would be $10 billion well spent. It would mean that MS would win the next gen console race completely, and they would make their money back quite quickly with the popularity of COD. If I was in charge of any one of those companies, I would bid on them. It doesn't matter whether it's bad for the gamer, if they can afford, they should totally go for it.
Angry Birds is one of the worst games ever made, if you really think about it, it's such a stupid game. There are many many mobile games that are better, but have sold less due to less hype.
Best news ever.
I actually thought this was a good idea when I heard about them doing it with the 360, but a rolling contract would not be wise, especially from the beginning.
Think about it this way:
1. MS would need to partner with a cable company, and therefore share any profits of the subscription service.
2. $99 would never cover the cost of the console itself, meaning MS would be taking a MASSIVE loss. And would have to rely on consumers continuing to pay their contract...
Tbh Sidar, Wii U isn't a safe bet for Actvision for COD. Why would they spend extra resources to port a game to the system, and then get only 1 million sales? Core third-party games for the Wii didn't do very well.
So the easier it is for them to port the game, the more likely they will do it.
