@WiiUDaily - It's not cool calling out a rival games journalist, makes you look unprofessional. He's entitled to his opinion, so it's not good to defame him, just because you don't agree. You could have gone about this is a better way, rather than calling him out directly and calling him an idiot.
@ALLWRONG - You're all wrong.
There isn't a full list of the confirmed launch line-up available. Assassin's Creed 3 and Darksiders 2, Tekken Tag 2 and Tank Tank Tank are launch games, among many others.
This is a full list of the launch window titles, http://www.digitaltrends.co...
However, take it with a grain of salt, because Pikmin 3 is not going to be available a...
@ddurand - But the fact of the matter is, the majority of people, cannot be bothered or don't give a crap about hacking their phone or customizing it in anyway. I know I got a lot of disagrees above, but the point is, the iPhone is simple for the normal user, which is why people buy it.
You can call people ignorant all you want, I know all about rooting Android, but I personally do not have an Android phone, though I do have some experience with them. If I was going to g...
Except it won't, especially the launch line-up. Even the Wii had quite a "core" line-up when it launched, and it kinda went downhill when everyone realised that casuals don't buy games!
@above - Maybe not exactly, but it's a very similar type of sheep-like purchase, by that I mean the people who upgrade through every device that Apple releases. e.g. have owned every version of iPhone.
It's different if it's been a couple of years and you want to upgrade though.
Btw, I only own an iPhone, I'm not an Android user at all, and I'm not talking about the layman that just buys one or two apple devices, I'm talking about the ...
I've seen a lot of people saying "buy an S3" instead of iPhone 5, but does it really offer the exact same experience? I'm talking about in every way, and I'm 100% sure it doesn't. I'm not defending the iPhone 5, it is ridiculously overpriced imo, but some things need to be said.
1. Android in general kinda sucks, Jelly Bean is good on the Nexus 7 because it uses stock Android, but I've heard from reliable reviewers that they would choose a HT...
It boggles the mind that Capcom has given up on Dino Crisis and Onimusha, when they are such great IPs. I hope they make another version of the game at some point.
This is true. When they originally showed the game, it looked very boring in terms of art-style, and making the drastic change to cel-shading helped it differentiate itself immensely. It was a really good design decision, and whoever made it, deserves to be promoted/a raise.
Lol this video was quite funny, once you get past the borderline racist Japanese rant. But the sentence at the very end sums it up for me completely, just like Apple fans.
@Sono - So's your face. :p
Well I knew it had been released in some form already, never really played it myself.
@PopRocks - Wii's extended hardware droughts were because of Nintendo's incompetence. I mean months into the launch, people still couldn't get Wii's because they weren't manufacturing enough. It wasn't really because of it having great games, it was because it had Wii Sports, and that's it.
@digitalanalog - Probably depends on whether or not Nintendo actually owns the IP. Because Sony owns Heavy Rain IP, meaning it cannot be spun-off or released on anything else, without their permission. That was not the case for Mass Effect or Ninja Gaiden obviously.
Actually, it's a remake of Ninja Gaiden 2, which was published by Microsoft.
Ah right, got a little mixed up.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma says hi.
Yeah, this will probably sell decently in Japan, but Monster Hunter Tri is already available for PC and Xbox 360, so I don't see it as a big deal.
@darth - Nintendo has consistently proven that their first party is strong, but third party support isn't necessarily. It's not just about a single generation, but even if you look at the Wii and the Wii U, it is clear that Nintendo are not as focused on the core gamer as they were during the GC days. Anyone who says otherwise is in denial. So it's obvious that gamers would be wary, especially if you aren't a fan of their first party (I got bored of Mario after N64).
...
They're more annoyed about the fact that it was leaked, more than anything else. TBH, they don't really have much room to talk because, 1, they didn't even design Raiden, and 2, it's not even their IP.
I'm guessing the main reason for this is the Xbox SmartGlass stuff, which it's obvious they are hoping will take off massively. I guess it could, but the demo at E3 seemed like the current features were a little redunant.
