So that port was a USB B port, wonder what it's used for in development.
Talk in confusing technical jargon so that nobody understands anything, so you can say "MS knows what they are talking about."
Massive damage control, no real new information, repeating the same thing trying to get people to believe it.
@Muerte - You're right, they probably wouldn't have. That being said though, the PS4 itself didn't die, something went wrong in the game. So it could be a game bug or a system bug, can't really be sure. When that video of Ryse leaked, the guy actually said that sometimes you can press the Xbox button multiple times before it goes to dashboard, which is a system bug it appears, but it's not that major, which is why nobody really cares. Software issues can be ironed out at l...
@Konsoru - At the Eurogamer Expo a few years ago, they had L4D2 on show, but nobody could play it because both 360s had RRODed.
@Gozer - And that is why you are not MS.
MS needs a Japanese presence no matter what, because if not, the majority of Japanese Devs won't support them with those niche titles that get a cult following. They won't give up on Japan and they shouldn't.
@JOY - Carmack said they are similar in terms of architecture, which they are. Your second quote proves what I said is true, PS4 is more powerful in terms of raw power. That's the whole argument. Games can be good regardless of power.
It still amazes me that people can't see that, it's not about optimization or the games. The argument is about the power. You have four or five Devs that have said PS4 is up to 50% powerful, and many others that have hinted at it, ye...
Hopefully they are developing a big RPG like Fallout/Skyrim
@Power - Devs say it is 50% more powerful, that's the smoke. MS has still not released the full specs, Sony hasn't released much at all.
Possibly, but will probably cost a LOT more.
Honestly, I just want the full spec of both consoles out in the open once and for all. This assuming and guessing is getting a little annoying.
There is no smoke without fire, and the smoke says PS4 is up to 50% more powerful, now give us the facts (MS and Sony)(and we'll figure it out ourselves.
@JOY - "How is not having TV functionality that ps4 doesnt have either at launch in Europe while having all the TV functionality in US which ps4 doesnt have terrible news for micro?"
Simple, because they focused so much on TV, and now they're backtracking saying it won't be available at launch. Their message is inconsistent at best, and incompetent at worst.
Exactly, they can't mention any advantage other than dedicated servers, which have existed for years. But credit where credit is due, at least he's not talking shit.
Just confirms that the reveal event in May which was broadcast worldwide, was just for the American audience. We all suspected it, and this confirms it. MS is so unprepared it's actually sad.
The guy playing it is the Xbox rep, he's got an Xbox t-shirt on...
This multiplayer looks kinda boring imo, I'm more interested in the campaign. Graphically looks pretty good though.
Wow Japanese news broadcasts are really boring.
@Vitalogy - Yeah this was specifically to advertise the Vita TV, which I am actually considering getting for my PC monitor. Although I will need to upgrade to a monitor with HDMI in.
@BlackTar - He's an Xbox fanboy just ignore him.
I think they'll sell a bit more than that. They'll probably sell 2-3 million in the first week.
I take it back, this looks incredible, lighting and particle effects look amazing.
I don't like Metro on Windows 8, but I think it might be okay on the Xbone.
