@kickerz - So yourself....
On topic - I've got no doubt that cloud gaming can work, but it won't work well until everyone's internet speeds are up to scratch. My one and only experience with Gaikai was when I played the Darkness 2 demo in my browser, and previously I had tried OnLive's offerings. Suffice to say, Gaikai was a much better and stable stream, there was some minor lag, but after a while your brain compensates for it, but it was nowhere near as bad ...
@theAMC - "We can see that the PS4 is more powerful (on paper), but so was the PS3."
Difference is, PS3 was A LOT more difficult to code for than the Xbox 360. Which is why nobody other than Sony devs were able to fully take advantage of the system. This time round, PS4 is as easy, and looks like it is in fact easier to code for than the Xbone. I said it months ago, this would most likely mean better looking third party games on PS4 vs Xbone, and looks like I and a ...
It's actually quite a well thought out article, and you can tell the writer is genuinely frustrated at the fact that MS has blatantly lied to everyone up to this point when it comes to the power of the system when compared to the PS4.
Major Nelson said he was looking forward to the truth coming out. I bet he regrets saying that now...

@hellsvancy
Lol why would i be defending blood sucking corporate. Open platform ftw PC."
Open Platform = PC
Most games on PC = On Windows
Windows = Microsoft's
Microsoft = Blood sucking corporation
@Septic - Because nobody cares when you can upgrade the internal HDD, and external HDDs support can be added later. I'm 90% sure that MS actually said the Xbone doesn't support external HDDs either at launch.
What the hell, can't play MP3s?! Not that there aren't plenty of other formats you can convert stuff to, but that is weird.
It doesn't look as good or as exciting as the Ratchet & Clank movie imo, but nice to see teh franchise is still alive.
TitanFall will almost certainly sell the most units on Xbox 360, which will invalidate your point completely. It has the largest install base between 360 and Xbone (well whatever it will have, it won't be 80 million), so it's very likely to sell more on the 360. This is why it was stupid to pay for exclusivity because, IT'S NOT EXCLUSIVE. Microsoft exclusive means they get royalties from 360 and Xbone, and may push some Xbones, but anyone that buys it on PC will not be paying any ...
I wonder how much money they handed over for this, it must be in the region of GTA exclusive DLC, perhaps even more. Money down the drain if that is the case because its not fully exclusive so is not guaranteed to shift consoles, so they will make royalties on it, but that's not really the point early in a console life cycle.
That sentence is worded really strangely, "only for the lifetime...", why doesn't it just say is exclusive for the lifetime?
I still think this will come to PS4 at some point, not that I will get it for the PS4 I just think it will happen. Will get it for 360 when its available.
Not the final UI, it's somewhat similar to the dev UI that PS3 test kits had. I'm sure the final UI is good, but would like to see it.
I do a bit of PC gaming now and then, but the reason console gaming works is because the exclusives are on another level. Just Sony's exclusives alone would be enough to get you through an entire gen, even Nintendo's. Nowhere near that level of quality on PC (not saying there aren't great games, but they're not TLOU). It's also good to know that you've got a box that will allow you to play games on it for 6-7 years, and don't need to worry about driver issues, or D...
So it seems like his "I might be out of a job debacle" came down to Sony not sending him a console. Drama queen is a major understatement, just BUY one, and review on day one, if you didn't whine so much people would have still watched your video on the hardware. Also HDCP has loads of workarounds.
Wow it's actually quite noticeable, especially in terms of lighting and shadows, they are miles better on the PS4 which means skin tones look more realistic. Better draw distance too.
It's not a huge difference, but definitely noticeable. It was never going to be a huge difference though, because they want to keep parity between platforms to an extent.
@Fox - I don't mind JOY most of the time, is usually quite reasonable.

JOY - Don't be that guy.
If true, expect MS to block it in their next update. They aren't in the business of making their competitors money, and Sony would do the same if the Xbone controller works on PS3 or PS4.
It says he's going by eBay listings wtf, is that serious? It's not a big leap to get to his theory based on previous history of the 360, but eBay listings?!
I'd honestly like to know what this is actually about, because people are really making a huge deal out of it, and it seems like people are hyping it up to be the end of PlAyStation, and honestly can't see it being anything that bad unless Sony adopts Xbone original policies. And that's not going to happen.
If it is something really stupid, I'd like to see how Sessler digs him out of that hole.

I absolutely love Demon Souls, just got into from PS+ and am almost done playing. So will look into Dark Souls and teh sequel after I've finished that. But I would love a Demon Souls sequel, but I don't think it will happen because I can't see them wanting to piss off Capcom (deep down) and From Software (Dark Souls), unless From is making the game.
