^^^^^^that's the best idea I've ever heard on this website! A true lost classic that I'm sure many of us would love to see revived!
@ OcelotRigz -
I agree completely. I dont get the dinosaur hype at all - To me, DICE has created one of the best tactical online shooters this gen. Id rather an expansion/DLC along the lines of B2K or Close Quarters, where the focus is on what Battlefield does best: tactical team-based warfare.
When it comes to Horde/survival mode gametypes, I'd rather that be kept in the CoD Zombies and Gears of War realm.
I say right on Aisha! She's obviously been gaming for a while and has encountered one too many internet/XBL/PSN flaming trolls. Sometimes I want to post similar comments on N4G ;)
Someone give Aisha a bubble!
The only people bitching about this are the people who don't plan on buying it. I play BF3 almost everyday, and I plan on buying all the expansion packs, so for ME..it's worth the $50.. I've now payed for all the DLC, so all I have to do is download it, plus I get it two weeks early and I save $25 bucks for buying it all at once. Plus I get cool swag like weapon and soldier camo's..
To people who don't play BF3 all that often, or only play it when that ce...
@ blahblah346
REALLY!?! So using a cellphone (which is exactly what my PSN friends do for multiplayer on ps3) and making a conference call to a group of friends so that you can communicate during an online multiplayer match is a good example of how the PSN is "beter" than XBL!?!? You say "as long as PSN supports mutiplayer, that's really all that matters"... but it's not FULLY supporting multiplayer if YOU CANT COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER PLAYERS.
@ Biggest,
I'm not "defending" MS's conference. I'm pointing out the rediculousness of closeminded c*ck-slobbering fanboys, mostly of the Sony-loving breed, on this particular website. And clearly my post got under your skin since your best comeback was the tried-and-true "no games for Xbox" argument and that "i should fap to Usher." clearly a mature and well thought-out rebuttal filled with thought provoking substance.
But reading the last 3 pages of "enlightening" comments proves to me that 70% of the commenters DONT OWN OR PLAY GAMES ON A 360. If they did, they wouldn't be trolling about how terrible the press conference was and how "the Xbox has no games."
You didn't like the press conference? Well, if You don't own any MS products there's no need to worry or criticize.
What's the point in wasting your time? Your incessant tro...
@ dboyc310 - A solid franchise usually sticks around for a while and many times, over the duration of several console generations. Rather than making the argument about Xbox 360's or ps3's re-curring franchise installments, take a look at gaming in general:I think there are more Mutiplatform releases that have several installments than there are exclusive ones (i.e. Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Splinter Cell, Assasin's Creed, etc.. list goes on) <...
Honestly, I was SO excited for Homefront last year, and when i got my hands on it I found myself utterly dissapointed at it's dated graphics, mediocre gameplay, and a cast of characters that were such driveling meatheads that I spent the whole game hoping the North Koreans would capture and kill them, so I'd no longer have to deal with their idiotic macho one-liners for the rest of the game.
From Homefront 2 I'd like to see more developed and 'real' charac...
NICE!! I've always thought Codemasters did a great job with their racing games.. I used to play the hell out of Colin MacRae's Rally back in the day, and Grid and Dirt stole my heart on day one! Hopefully they bring back the demolition derby races in Grid 2!
So wait a minute, Sony is allowing you to download games as a Plus subscriber.. but if you don't maintain a subscription, you cant access the "free" games you downloaded?
Allow me to join the other people here who got disagree bombed for calling that out as bullsh*t. If Microsoft did this with XBL, you would ALL cry foul. You know you would so don't deny it. But when Sony schemes on your wallet, you happily hand it over and defend them from critics??
Nintendo. hahaha.
I have the nerve to disagree.
Whatever happened to SC: Conviction on ps3? I thought it was only a timed 360 exclusive? Either way, hopefully the next game will be mutiplat so it may be enjoyed by all. My only question is, how will Sam Fisher continue to hide in the shadows while he's lit up like a christmas tree with his glowing goggles and PDA on his back?? ;)
and Droid Control^^^^^^^ not sure what your talking about, saying Conviction wasn't "hardcore" enough for you. Myself and mil...
Agree with you guys^^^^ The persistent upgrading of character's abilities, choice making, and dialougue that has trickled from RPG's into more action oriented games has only been for the better.
My favorite most recent example of a hybrid RPG/action would have to be Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Wow. "tactical choices" and "ethical descisions" that affect the game outcome, along with sandbox vehicle combat?
I won't hold my breath for Multiplayer until there's more news on that front, but i gotta say (and I'm a bit surprised to hear myself say it), but the campaign sounds like it will be awesome!
Actually Assasin's Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 are 2 of my most anticipated upcoming games this year..and hopefully Ubi will announce another Splinter Cell at E3 ;)
And since AC is already an established money-maker franchise, and given the popularity of FPS games these days, I'm sure both AC3 and FC3 are sure to be "blockbusters" if we're using that word to mean "huge sales numbers"!
PS: I'm not sure what a "layered servic...
hey, Regent_of_the_Mask..
Do you just hate everything!? All you do on here is troll all the comments and complain about whatever article/games is being discussed. You only have one bubble, why not ever use it for a positive remark?
On Topic: I'm interested in hearing whether or not U-play will be incorporated into more games, especially Far Cry 3. I think it's a great service that really gives in-game acheivements worth trying to obtain, since you a...
GTA 4 was far from mediocre or overrated. Maybe YOU didn't like it, but you gotta give it credit for raising the bar. Even still, if R* hadn't taken a slightly different approach to the series, and GTA4 was as silly and over the top as it's predecessors, then I'm sure you would've criticized it for being "more of the same." Some people just always need to complain..

Really?? Your statement makes you sound pretty bitter over LaChance's comment that he hopes all the cars are fully rendered inside and out in GT6. Don't you hope so too??
Also, "Real Drivers" play all sorts of driving/racing games. Fanboys only play one and talk sh*t about all the others.. Guess we know which category you fit into now. :-/
Amen to that. ^^^^^^
Bubbles..
