Dude, Conviction had TONS of stealth in it!? What are you guys talking about!? I played that whole game stalking around in the shadows, sneaking up behind people with Fisher's CQC moves or dropping foes accross the room with a silenced headshot. It had just as much stealth as the other splinter cells.. maybe even more so, since Sam Fisher's head wasn't lit up like a christmas tree with those silly goggles until almost two thirds through the main story!
Either way...
It shouldn't be too big of a deal as long as all the extra missions aren't tied into the main story arc. I'm okay if they were just side quests or something similar in scope. Either way all pre order incentives inevitably become DLC at some point, so nobody will miss out who doesn't want to miss out.
I have to say I think people are chooing the wrong arguments with DICE. I think the issue is less about what kind of DLC they should make, and instead, what kind of changes they should make to further balance the gameplay.
FOR ONE THING: they should patch the ability to TK within the team spawn. It's almost impossible to spawn in a vehichle at the start of a match w/o getting Teamkilled so someone else can pilot/drive it. It's the cheapest most bullsh*t move EVER. And it ...
AMEN!!!! @ yodacracker
It doesn't bother me, though: I come here for the news on both sides of the "console war" front.. so the ignorant masses don't get to me-- plus I much prefer my 360 to my ps3, and I wont be swayed.. hope that made some eyes water up in this hater circle here. That's right. I said it, bitches!
Hey folks..Take a look at dcortz2027's comment history. A true fanboy troll at his finest.
"Ocean Grown Kush".... sorry, I have no pertinent comment to the article, but your username just sounds delicious ;)
(and a pretty avatar pic also!)
OR, Take advantage of Gamestops "satisfaction guarantee"
They take back any used game within 7 days, as long as you have the original receipt. Buy a used game, play it.. If you don't like it, or your beat it in a week and don't see replay value, return it!
From the article:
"The main thing that put me off (and many customers) is the push the company forces down their employees throats to 'grab as many pro memberships, and make sure to get pre-orders' even when many customers either already have a pro card or haven't even picked up previous pre-orders (which is money sitting in the company's account that most customers have completely forgotten about)."
Ok.. First of all, Any retail employer is ...
I just picked up SR3.. probably about 25% complete. While i do find it to be fun, especially the minigames, there's something about it that just feels cheap, and I cant figure out what it is. I think it looks a bit too cartoony or something.. I'll finish it and trade it for credit.. fun but nothing id play through again.
I actually enjoy the "non-interactive" cutscenes in many games. Plus, the cutscenes give me time to stick my hand into the bag of Dorito's or take a hit of the bowl XD
Seriously though, unless they can convey story telling in-game the way Uncharted does, with the constant dialouge between the characters during gameplay, then I'd rather the old traditional style of cutscenes. Like i said, I'd rather be enjoying a handful of game-time snacks or taking a p...
Bubbles to you, Dlacy13g!
"oh N4G"... you took the sigh right out of my lungs. I only clicked on the comments section for this article because of the title, and I know that anytime HALO or any Xbox exclusive is mentioned, N4G goes off half-cocked spewing out lists of "better" games. It's entertaining really!
hmmmm... I think the name of this site should be changed to "N4MCMG"... "News 4 Mostly Closed-minded Gamers."...
Honestly, I don't think exclusives would matter much if they were done away with next generation. By now, the console war has raged to the point that it has created distinct armies of blind corporate drones (what we all like to call "fanboys"), who are likely to continue to support their flagship brand simply out of brand loyalty.
When we used to buy consoles we considered things like hardware specs, and preferred exclusives when it came time to choose. Nowada...
Haha! Yea me too.. Meant $60 of course :)
Close quarters might be a nice diversion and theres nothing wrong with variety. Battlefield will never be/feel like CoD, because BF's realistic gun physics, controllable gun attatchments, and fire rate make for a more tactical experience, even in a round of straight up team deathmatch.
Also, Small infantry maps are great for working on unlocks for your favorite gun. After all your more likely to shoot more people in a round of TDM on a small version of, say, Noshar Ca...
And a quick browse at your comments history will show you aren't immune from trolling either. Guess you're right--everyone can act like a troll. Even you.
Seriously!? What's wrong with gamers these days?? Anyone who spends anytime on any internet gaming sites sees hardly anything but trolls, fanboys, and a population of nerd-raged, self-righeous, know-it-all pricks who flaunt this sense of entitlement.
Nobody can just play a game and be happy with it anymore. Instead they take to the internet in droves to complain about the game developers and troll about a pixel thats out of place.
I understand that when ...
Funny that never happened to me, or any of my friends during an online match in either forza 3 or 4. And I've put entry of hours into it.. Maybe it's your Xbox?
So dissapointed to see how much distaste for America there is on this site apparently.. After reading through the comments section on the several articles posted on this game since yesterday, I'm kind of shocked.
So if everyone hates America these days, why is it that there's still a tremendous influx of immigrants (both legal and illegal) arriving in the United States by the MINUTE?
I'm willing to bet it's Europeans that are bitching a...
I honestly dont think having guns in this game will detract from the game. The firearms of that time period were terribly inaccurate outside of 5 feet from the target and whats more, Flintlock pistols, muskets, and Blunderbusses held one shot per loading, and the releaoding was a process that would take even a trained figher of that time period at least a minute or more to reload another single shot. Given those facts, employing the use of a revolutionary-era firearm could actually be a gam...
Wow. Fanboy much?? Bitter because the AWESOME episodic DLC for GTA IV was kept from you for a year, because you only owned a ps3..all while you've got your panties in a twist about Agent being in development limbo??
Also, the GTA IV was not "on-disc".. you're misinformed about that. It was developed alongside the game and furthermore, The Lost and Damned DLC wasn't even available for the 360 until 10 months following the release of GTA IV and The Balla...
