Dubstep is horrible IMO.. that music is nothing but a big fad at the moment thatks to cats like Skrillx... it will be remembered in 20 years in the same corny way Disco is remembered today.
Game trailers need more FUNK music! Who doesn't want to see some bad-ass character blowing up bad guys to the sound of James Brown's "Payback"? :)
Man, i almost wish that Developers would wait to announce these games like a month before release... then I wouldn't have to wait around biting my nails in anticipation for the next two years.
Cant wait for this game. I have to admit that all the things that most people disliked about Farcry 2, I actually had no problem with. Living with malaria/needing to locate pills, as well as weapon degradation added to the gritty survivalist nature of the game and added to the immersion you feel with the character and environment.
Also, alot of people hated the travel distances between mission checkpoints, but I personally loved taking those drives just to marvel at the beautifull...
Also, this story makes me wonder how many games we play under one title or franchise, were games that were rescued from development limbo with another company where the game was known as another title.

NICE!! Was a huge fan of True crime NY and LA on ps2. I was sad when True Crime HK was cancelled last year, but at least we'll see some of it's code live on in this new title.
Actually Fez, you may be right. I've only owned a ps3 for 2 years and I thought I remembered seeing Haze in the Gamestop 360 bargain bin a few times ages ago (before I owned a ps3). But I just double checked myself, and the only site I could find that says it's available on 360 was Gamespot.. maybe I was actually looking for bargain titles for my ps3 and my memories were confused! lol

Haze was released for 360, I don't know why this article has it listed as a ps3 exclusive. Never played it (or any of these games) but.. just sayin. Maybe Haze was originally cancelled for 360, but it wound up a multiplat.

NERF THE FRAG ROUNDS ON SHOTGUNS!!!!!! They are as effective as a 320 round. Furthermore, when you are playing against a whole team using the USAS-12 or the SAIGA 12K with Frag rounds, competitive play is absolutely unacheivable. If we wanted to get our asses blown up by noobs with OP shotguns everytime we spawn, we'd play that "other" modern military shooter.

Yea they did say that. And what exactly did they deliver for the "hardcore" crowd.. like some silly hack n' slash that was allegedly a survival horror game (was it called "Rise of the Nightmare" or something?? I cant exaclty remember), but it got terrible reviews. Then between 20 releases of cute and cuddly Kinect Shovelware, they release that Blackwater game, which also recieved abhorrent scores.

From my point of view N4G is an unofficially ps3 biased website, in terms of it's userbase. And I think that we get alot of stories posted and approved by members about how many exclusives the ps3 has, or why game 'A' looks better on ps3, or how much the xbox 360 is holding the ps...
Or better yet, How bout Interstate 76?? That was the original game that was re-hashed, watered down, and turned into Vigilante 8. Was available for PC's in the mid 90's. I used to play that game for hours... Groove Champion FTW!!
I'm looking forward to this game too, but man.. the hype train is rolling hard and fast on this one. I'd like to see new consoles as much as every other serious gamer, but there are still so many great games coming out for current consoles in the next year (or maybe even longer) that i think i can wait patiently as I play much anticipated games like Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, GTA V, Hitman, etc... Not to mention with all the games that dropped between this Oct--Dec, there's still a handful of games I haven't had the chance (or budget) to try out. I can wait another year...
