What!? I dont wanna burn down weed crops, unless they're wrapped in a Dutch Master!!!
All jokes aside, despite it's shortcomings here and there, Farcry 2 was one of my favorite games this gen.. REALLY can't wait for this one!
I 'thumbed you down' for not having worthwhile response to my post. But I will 'thumb you up' for your comment below..
And out comes the Sony defense force... over ONE review.
just food for thought: what if the game is really as bad as the reviewer says? What excuse will you all come up with then?
remember the good ol' days (circa 2004-2009ish), when DLC was an afterthought, announced and released several months after a game's original release? It seemed like back then it really extended the game's experience, and gave players something new to look forward to once they had completed the main storyline. I remember the epic wait for GTA4 and Fallout 3 DLC.. it was like waiting for a whole new game.
Nowadays, DLC is announced alongside whatever game it's f...
THE ARTICLE IS A JOKE. A parody article, written for fun. Some of ya'll should really read the article before going off half-cocked in the comments section.
Good read.. And I just love the music in the new trailer..now that's some funk :D
No they are NOT all as small as nuketown!! People who are telling you that are just trolling and CLEARLY havent played Blops 2 yet.
So far, Blops 2 has really earned back some of my respect and fondness for the CoD series.. the map design being one of several reasons. The maps are much better than MW3 maps, with more open areas, and a better ratio of distance to close quarters engagements, more passageways to objectives, and easy-to-see camping spots (which sucks for campers...
really, you think so?? You could bring down whole entire villages, toppling structures to the ground in Bad Company 2.. In Battlefield 3, the best you can do is blow holes in walls.. much more destruction in BC2 than BF3 i think..
I was always tuning in the funk and soul stations ;-) love the music in the GTA games!
Though Its been one of my favorite racers this gen, Midnight Club LA has gotta be one of the hardest games I've ever played, at least once you pass a certain level with your character and the races you can enter. Green and yellow coded races were usually pretty achievable at a first place finish, but beyond that.. No matter your car, upgrades, or special abilities it was just literally impossible to pass the competition. Still an awesome game though.
I am loving Forza Horizon. It's a nice blend of Forza 4's sim feel combined with a Project Gotham style arcade feel. I may pick up NFS around black Friday if I continue to hear great things.
And to the people above who are laughing at Forza 4 being a sim racer, you guys are being tools. Forza 4 is a sim. From the feel of the cars, to the upgrading and tuning. And if you wanna compare it to GT5, the two games have the SAME exact assist and difficulty options, including...
@ morkendo - I will buy if it sounds good Because I'm a car fan and I love racing games.. whether its a full-on sim like Gran Turismo 5 or Forza 4, or whether its an arcade racer like NFS games, Burnout or Project Gotham, etc.
I'll admit that not all NFS games are good (looking at you Most Wanted reboot and Undercover), but some NFS games have been favorites of mine over the years when it comes to the arcade racing style. I loved NFS Shift (the first one) and NFS Car...
Hmm.. sounds intriguing. I'd like to believe the score, but the reviewer did also describe the Lancia Delta as "mundane". ;-) Where i'm from (US), we never had Lancia and if you talk to most American car/motorsport enthusiasts they would love to sling a '90's-era Delta Integrale sideways through some mud.
Seriously though, if this game keeps getting review scores like this I will definitley pick it up.. Although Forza Horizon is also keeping my raci...
@ Crazy -
Some people are sheep and they just say, like, or even hate, whatever is popular. You are probably right about a portion of people who slander CoD on the interwebz are still the ones that are going to buy a copy... even when they blog about their Activision boycott or whatever...
But I totally understand why some people despise the CoD series as well. It's kinda like when **that awesome band that you and your friends discovered a while back ma...
^^^^^^^^^ Yup. I'm glad someone finally said it! Welcome to N4G logic.
How come CoD can cut-n-paste for 6 years in a row, release an annual explosion fest, have glitchy and hackable multiplayer, but it still gets review scores in the 9's and 10's!?!?
Sure, MoH Warfighter is the same ol' same ol', but at least they updated their engine. I've only played a short bit of the campaign and about 3-4 rounds of sector control in multiplayer, but so far what I've seen doesn't deserve the troll review scores of 5/10.. It's...
I'm between the two of you on Singularity ^^^^ and the dude below. I think that game had some serious flaws in terms of gameplay, AI, and the graphics (on console anyway) were pretty bad by this generations standards. But I think Singularity had a story and game mechanics, such as the abilty to "timewarp" enemies and certain materials.. that was especially cool in trying to solve various puzzle sections.
A flawed masterpiece IMO - big fun factor and interesti...
Animal Mutha 76 - "does the game have to be so cringingly over the top American?" Perhaps it should don a top hat, spectacles and a gentlemanly moustache?? After all, THE GAME IS SET IN AMERICA. People who live in Colorado don't have British accents.
All i have to say to you good sir is... AMERICUHHHHHHHHH FUUUU*K YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!
@ HarryMason - if you're a Gran Turismo fan, you'll also love Forza.. I'd say go with Forza 4...you can find it in gamestop or Bestbuy for about $30 bucks.
Forza 4 and Gran Turismo, are much more similar than crazed fanboys would have you believe. Both games have the same set of difficulty assists, but Forza has more parts to upgrade your car than GT, although the actual tuning options are pretty much the same. Forza also will suck you in for hours in the decal...
dude, stop trolling. This may not be an "innovative" entry into the franchise or the FPS genre, but Treyarch at least tried some things to set it apart and make it different from the other 17 CoD games that came before it. You'd know that if you actually played the game.
