Yes, between this and Aces of Thunder, I've got a little PSVR backlog going that I need to get to soon. I've always wanted a good VR flight sim, now we have it.
the crazier part is, sometimes enabling this kind of AI upscaling tech actually produces a BETTER image than natively rendering at 4K (and to be clear, I'm not talking about DLSS5's AI slop that takes creativity away from the game developers).
Maybe because it's actual reputable publications reporting on this, not gaming rumor sites.

Someone is salty that Sony decided to stop releasing their games on PC.
Don't forget that "Pro Enhanced" does not automatically mean that the game uses PSSR. There are several games that run at higher resolutions, have better lighting, etc. on Pro, but they stick with checkerboard rendering like PS5 base does, or use other upscaling techniques. Only games that used the original PSSR get the boost by setting that toggle to on.
You're commenting, which heats up the article, which causes others to click on it... Part of the plan. JS, next time, just ignore it.
I forget we're going from sexagesimal to base 10 when converting seconds to milliseconds.
Nintendo's biggest mistake was turning Sony down... the two of them together would have been a completely unstoppable force in the industry. Now they compete.
Xbox has put itself in a tough position... With current RAM prices, the system is going to cost a fortune (it's APU alone is $500-600, before you even get to the RAM, SSD, power supply, etc). So, we're looking at a 4 digit price tag, and it has the Gabecube to compete against now directly in that console space. It has no exclusive games at all. PS6 is coming in close in performance but expected to cost hundreds less, and PS6 Pro will likely again take the "most powerful crown&quo...
I started buying digital only back in the PS3 days. It's just more convenient, I don't have to worry about it getting damaged, I don't have to wait for the game to copy to my HDD, it's already there, I can have it automatically download on release day... it doesn't take up room in my entertainment center.
However, I will always advocate for supporting physical formats, because of the ownership issue. If it can be taken away from me, I don't own it. ...
except the mid point between 30 and 60, two numbers separated by exactly 30, is 45. 30 and 60 are 30 frames apart, exactly half of that is 15. 15+30=45.
Sony released games on PC to try to make a few extra bucks... Valve (and possibly MS, if the new Xbox ever sees the light of day) attempted to use this to allow you to play PlayStation games on other consoles, so instead of making Sony a few extra bucks, it's now costing them good money... so this only makes sense.
Gives them much more (and their shareholders much less) control of their future. I can dig it.
Likely another team doing the new GOW while Corey works on the new project.
And with that, the final Obscure Observation comes crumbling down around his feet. We were right all along. Xbox is now fully a third party developer. I'd be surprised to see new hardware out of them... now that the APU is taped out, they might have to release it just to keep from losing billions in R&D, or maybe they'll do the 3DO route and license it out like they did their handheld, but Microsoft has no exclusives left to sell their hardware, not like they sold any to begin wit...
The CPU is the part people worry about when it comes to 60fps... That's going to be really interesting to see how they manage to pull that off, if they do.
Technically, they've lost every generation they've participated in. Only the Xbox 360 brought them close, but they still ended up in last place behind PS3 and Wii by the time it was all said and done.
PS5 has been outselling Switch 2, so I'm not sure where you get the "Sony has just been going downhill" from.
