I was thoroughly impressed with the trailer. Kojima and the producer received a roaring applause when the word castlevania appeared on screen. kojima has really been knocking them out of the park this year! keep checking back with us for many more updates from e3!

I'm getting so sick of n4g opinion pieces. every time i scroll down the list and I see a story that says "why the XXX will XXX" or "x reasons why xxx is/will/won't xxx", I want to puke. This one did just that, made me throw up a little in my mouth. Why can't people be more original with their "editorials"? (and yes, I am a journalist myself who writes these things, so I have room to talk...
i'm expecting mgs for PS3 + PSP (with cross platform integration allowing you to further the storyline by playing the other version) and the third game (lord of shadow or whatever) being multiplatform.

They're implying they've won the most impressive showing at E3, but it's still premature. Still a hell of a megaton though.
It's still possible for this to come to 360, but it won't have PSP connectivity. That said, you are supposed to be able to advance through the story via the connectivity, so a 360 version with no handheld to do that part with wouldn't work.
Note that is says POSSIBLY Akiba...
Akiba was just a suggestion made by the translator.
This could still come to 360, but the PS3 version will have exclusive connectivity with PSP, we at least can rely on that.

well, i've found PSN's DD options to be quite worthy of the purchase, but I still think they should to all they can, regardless of VAT (we in america have our own state sales tax rates as well) to make sure Europeans can access the content they put on the PS store.
because not everyone in Europe can access a credit card. Why do you think PSN cards were relased in America? For those who do not have a credit card to be able to purchase PSN downloads. Now that PSP is moving to digital distribution, Sony will be missing out on all that money from those who want to buy games but have no credit card. They already are. Our forums are flooded with posts from angry Europeans who aren't yet old enough to own a credit card (or just don't want to) and cannot buy PS...
Not that impressive. Nowhere near the level of Uncharted 2.
drewsny.... you really have no idea what you are talking about man. RSX is by far an "actual graphics card" (it's a geforce 7900 modified). Cell is a CPU by every definition of the word, but it's cores are capable of helping RSX render it's graphics when available. and PS3 has the exact same amount of RAM as 360. It's harder to code for because it has 8 cores instead of 2-3, and sony's software tools for developers were terrible when ps3 launched and still aren't the best in the bus...
running crysis on any setting doesn't have anything to do with just the CPU man. It's the GPU and how much RAM the PS3 has that would keep it from running crysis on max settings, not the CPU. When it comes to gaming, Cell is actually the best processor to use in most cases.
I didn't need a poorly translated article to tell me that Cell is better than any other processor out there when it comes to certain multimedia tasks, namely video encoding. we've known this since 2005, when Sony first went on about how PS3 could decode 12 1080p streams at once in real time.
That said, it only excels at those certain tasks. There are a ton of other tasks where the i7 will smoke cell.
I like the shot where he's fighting on the back of the running beast... lots of epic action in this one.
