Single player also, you can "pass the controller" to them virtually.
There have been a number of times I've wanted to play a game online with a friend but they didn't have the game. This solves that issue. I'll definitely be using it.
So, at first the MS was praising live's dedicated servers like they were the second coming of Christ. Then, when it was revealed that other systems use dedicated servers also, Microsoft shifted gears and now they're spitting out "CLOUD servers!", which are essentially non-dedicated servers running on a different network infrastructure.
Also, his line in the article doesn't make sense. What the hell does loading an entire level on the server have to do wi...
That old man is still writing music that is many times better than the garbage that is popular these days.
Well, if they are the super mario bros., that would make mario their last name.
I prefer peach to a name that literally means "toad crap"... though toadstool is probably just her last name. Eggman was always Robotnik's name in Japan.
This is what happens when you put all of your eggs into the third party basket. Third party exclusives are timed at best, you never get an entire franchise to yourself unless you develop and/or publish it yourself and own the rights to the IP.
It wouldn't be a bad system if it weren't for the company running it. Their insistence of putting things behind a paywall that have no business being there (though they have improved in that respect, still a long way to go), their insistence on charging the same or more for weaker hardware, their lack of dedicated first party support and heavily reliance on third party (which is biting them in the ass now, since many of their exclusives are now coming to other platforms), their attemp...
I used to be skeptical of F2P, but War Thunder made me a believer. I enjoyed that one so much I did end up buying into it. It was the first F2P game to show me that it could still have a fair leveling structure so that paying wasn't necessary at all. You do have to grind, but it isn't that bad.
Regardless, attacking the source without even mentioning the argument doesn't invalidate the argument. Nor does the argument being "late". I don't dispute the fact that it is a poorly written article on a site that looks thrown together, that the topic has probably been posted on here before and this article should have never been approved, but it always is good practice to counter the argument itself, then throw in any attacks on the source's credibility. People will ta...
Ever heard of the term "ad hominem"?
Yeah, I hope they don't use PS3's cap for the sake of trying to preserve cross compatibility.
Having a head start doesn't matter as much when dealing with a new console, all you have to choose from is the software that has been released for it, and who among those developers is willing to cut a deal with you to let you give their game away.
Hyper threading is a process that must be supported at the hardware level and is common on Intel CPUs, an API isn't going to add that in after the fact to a AMD chip. The API Xbox is already using is custom built for its CPU, so it already has the multi-threading capabilities that DX12 is bringing to the PC market. PC is where the differences will be seen, as for a long time DX has severely limited what PC CPUs can do and how they can communicate with GPUs. This brings PCs more in line wi...
Or perhaps they didn't pray at all, or perhaps if there is a god, that god isn't a genie in a bottle waiting to grant us wishes with a simple command or request given on bended knee.
Perhaps such discussions do not belong here, and perhaps I'll down bubble you fools for bringing it here to a gaming website where it does not belong (I encourage everyone else to do the same, 'cept to TRD, who brought up the same point I am.). If you want to have religious or phi...
I have a LED TV in my bedroom I play my PS4 on. Its PQ mathes and in some ways exceeds the 1080p Panny plasma 3DTV I have in my living room. The plasma (Viera) has an amazing image, though it does have a bit of image retention (temporary, it goes away after a while) issues. The LED upstairs has excellent contrast, but moreso it has a purer image due to no image retention at all.
I'm sorry, but especially on a larger high quality TV, you aren't going to fool me by sayi...
@executioner,
technically there are PS3 games that run at 120fps, Super Stardust HD does in 3D mode. Not much to be impressed about, but if you want to stick to the claim of a framerate alone, it matched it. However, this isn't about the Cell. This is about technology that is on the market and is being proven more powerful right now in our homes. Games running at higher resolution and framerate... this isn't something you saw last generation with the PS3/360, so draw...
strange obviously hasn't ever seen a post from MPOG, truefan, or any of the other mindless bots who post the same crap every time in every article related to PS4 having any sort of power advantage. just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it isn't there.
That would depend on how much butter they put on it... too much salt too.
Most people who say that don't realize half they games they grew up playing came from indie studios.
