as one of the best developers of this generation, thus far. It will be fascinating to see what sort of IP they come up with next. Guerrilla Games will always be synonymous with a quality FPS experience - pretty much like Bungie is with Halo.
this generation . Only problem I would have with a sequel is having to invest as much time in building up my profiles to where I am now - but having said that, I've enjoyed every minute of it. Even the cell shaded graphics grew on me and gave the game its own personal character.
Either way Gearbox goes - dlc or sequel - its a day 1 buy for me. But please, no more of the Underdome stuff. Too long and laborious for my liking.
it will have both on and offline coop - something like zombie apocalypse only scaled up.
in Metal Arms (which I would take over Ratchet and Clank anyday).
Best guns though, has to include Rico's chaingun and Luger's shadowmarshal's SMG from Kz1.
Coming in hot, Pandora!
Never feels boring or stale; great split screen co-op. And the buzz of opening each and every weapons box is a hold-your-breath moment.
DLC is good but hopefully Gearbox dont go back to the Underdome scenario.
I find that I just can't be bothered to load up a number of games that I really wish I could finish. I avoid RPGs like the plague as I know I'll never have the commitment to finish them - though strangely I have spent hours and hours on Borderlands and its DLC and platinumed it - and I can still go back to it.
One of my favourite games this gen is Heavenly Sword ,which I loved and beat, but is a game slated for being too short. Personally, give me quality over (reasonable) qua...
and it sure won't be the last on here. Im sure you 360 boys and girls will enjoy REACH (no sarcasm or knocking.
Personally, I can't wait for Kz3 to 'hit the beach' (and the jungle, frozen shorelines et al). One of so many great titles heading to a console near you lol
and its DLC has given my son and me, hours of splitscreen fun as well as online co op with my other son who lives away.
Probably though, we had just as much splitscreen enjoyment with R:FoM. Much prefer the side by side screen split on my 40" Bravia, than the top and bottom configuration.
the greatest accolade when your peers (fellow developers) pay tribute to any game - let alone the gamers who play it.
First Suckerpunch now Ninja Theory - and no doubt many others who look at ND's achievements . Thats the REAL testament to Naughty Gods.
shows up how fake the celebrity-playing vids are - and likely most else where MS have 'shown off' kinect.
with Kz2 controls / feel. Its maybe one of the games most defining aspects, along with its graphical and technical excellence . But there's no getting away from the fact that a lot of gamers couldn't / wouldn't adapt to something so radically different to what is found in almost every other FPS. Consequently, the sales suffered.
The thing now, is for GG to find the 'middle ground' for Kz3. ie be acceptable to the Kz2 doubters without pi$$ing off its Kz2 hardcore co...
which has some pretty good games on it as well as holding loads of my music, family pics and videos on. Funny that no one has mentioned the remote connection to the PS3. All in all, its given/giving me, great VFM imho.
jungle reveal - I've a feeling they will be a bit tasty. Bet one thing for sure though - there's going to be some sore heads on Monday morning if Holland win (or lose) against Spain in Sundays WC final! Best take the day off you GG guys! lol.
is certainly on the rise after their success with Infamous and the high expectations of Infamous 2. Throw a helping of Sly Cooper into the mix and it seems all roads lead to becoming yet another Sony 1st party development outfit .
Its where I expected Insomniac to be but it seems they had other plans.
MS are pushing a second generation PS Eye which supposedly supported 4 players (which now appears to be 2) and was shamefully E3 demo'd to hide the lag (which its supposedly not to have) and has to be played at some optimal level from the TV for it to work properly with a scarcity of games. It doesnt yet have a verified price by MS and its coming in a purple box? Am I missing something here?
another slow news day.
it's obviously going to look MEGATASTIC by release.
to that list too. Sorry Bobby, but it looks like the UK industry may be a prime victim if we're getting the 'belt tightening' treatment for the next five years.
A really sad waste.
no wonder PD took so long to deliver this game with not only the quantity of stuff, but also in outstanding quality . Well worth the wait. Talk of GT6? You have to be kidding, right?
