again, remember that this is a June 2009 build - meaning another 9 months of polish before March 2010 release. l played the demo after receiving the PSN codes - and think its great.

Having said that, Im a huge Killzone fan, folowed by a very, very marginally less Uncharted fan so my preferences in terms of graphical presentation will always be towards GG and ND.

No GoW blasphemy intended lol

will be pretty much ready to hit the beaches in late 2010. Considering the relative quick releases of 3 quality DLC soon after Kz2 launched, the GG devs seemed to have things nailed down.

GG suddenly and inexplicably went very quiet which seem to suggest they were occupied in 'other directions'.

Only things I want to see Kz2 improved on is a better/more original storyline and a script only half as good as UC2 would do the business. The controls are ABSOLUTELY FINE ...

that my PS3 hadnt shut down properly, when I turned off this morning, and did I want report it to Sony - which I did do.

All pretty painless and straightforward enough. Good that Sony monitors for potential problems like this.

Ah...you bought the PSP Concrete ?!
Not a good choice to carry around if your an eight stone weakling, in wet underpants. Are you?

Heavenly Sword was a quality (especially for its visuals) product. Scripting, acting were excellent and good gameplay.

One of those games where a sequel would have been a great hit - bit like UC2 after Drakes Fortune and Killzone 3 WILL be after Kz2.

Shame it never got a Trophy patch.

"I think I'm gonna file this under NOT AN ISSUE!"

are'nt Exclusives at a disadvantage as they're only accessible to one console? Not really up on the finer points of GOTY selection.
Appreciate anyone putting me straight. So wouldnt that hand it to MW2 ?
Or should I file my concerns under "not an issue" !?lol

to give the DICE a roll! I was disappointed that BFBC2 was pushed back from its November release slot (to avoid MW2?) - which I havent bought mainly because of Activisions/Koticks crap.

Big one for me though, will be Killzone 3.

looks like a mod ran amok with a shottie !!

Back on topic:

I really really hope that 3D is where Sony makes its REAL PS3 objectives. That will be the gamers Grail . Put the wand stuff on the back burner or leave it to Nintendo and MS.

I have always been happy with the system of my CHOICE. I made that choice and paid out launch day price for a 60GB that has since YLOD outside the warranty period so I decided to buy a second PS3 .

However, one thing I realised was that ANY existing technology (at that time ) would be more than susceptible to break given the demands of next-gen. Sony, being the hardware 'specialists' seemed like the best investment. One that I have never regretted.

I have ambiguous...

the feel and the style of RFOM (particularly the VERTICAL splitscreen offline co-op, which me and my son have had countless hours play on a 40" Bravia).

R2 was a big disappointment .Didnt like the change in colour palette and agree with other comments I read that the feel became a bit 'cartoonish'. As a preferred Campaign player, it felt a 'hollow' gameplay experience that just didnt engage like its predecessor .

However, its the thought of Kz3 that's really get...

suppose he would have to say that but I reckon I could probably pay to see worse things at the cinema, with my kids, on a wet Sunday afternoon.

Besides, with the right hairstyle and bit less body mass, anyone else see a potential Nathan Drake? Now that's a movie I do have high hopes for!

wanted to try MW2 but put off buying it mainly because of the lack of time and funds following a pretty awesome year of PS3 exclusives.

That said , I can't help but feel that IW has developed more than just a game ; they also seemed to have developed themselves a God complex, no doubt with a little help from Activision. What happened to listening to your paying customer? And doesnt it smack of arrogance that they didnt even bother with a demo?

Great shame really.

in theory but anyone else in the UK find we have a distinct lack of wireless hotspots? When I bought my PSP 3000 last year, the pairing function with my PS3, when out and about , was a big selling point for me. Still never found anywhere (East Midlands) I can use it.

Same story with 3G coverage . Facilities such as mobile TV on my Vodafone Sony Ericsson are frustratingly pointless until the UK becomes less of a third -rate nation in terms of implementing these public services.

Tempted to pick this up - could even see it helping to move people to buying into the PSP system (3000 way to go) given the popularity of its big brother.

Vision is the means by which we take the majority of the information from the world around us, then surely this would confirm the importance of the LOOK of any game. A book relies upon the quality of the written word to convey an idea or a mental image so obviously a VIDEO game should utilise its graphical qualities .

Hopefully this will be achieved ALONGSIDE a decent story, script, voice acting, controls etc etc....Result - a game like Uncharted2.

Besides, isnt it ...

Hopefully back to Nate's single romantic love interest, Elena and his rear gunner, Sully.
'Uncomplicated' Drakes Fortune.
