real jaw-dropping title that any new PS3 owner should make a point of picking up. Its production levels -mo cap, cut scenes, dialogue etc, still keep it up there amongst the best on the console.
I believe it was originally intended as being the first of a trilogy. A great shame that with more nurturing and encouragement from Sony, NT might have gone on to be up there with the premier franchises produced by ND, GG, Santa Monica et al.
Dont know if HS could be patched ...
I thought the RE5 devs had relented and made it allowable to copy the game save - never played it but sure I read it somewhere.
Guerrilla Games, on the other hand, made my one and only gripe with Kz2. No backing up the gamesave and never showed any sign of relenting on that. 99% SP completion . Why oh why wont Radec and his goons just DIE!! lol
Hopefully GG will show a bit more understanding re Killzone 3 save copying.
will tell you its the game that keeps on giving, when it comes to a multitude of bigger and better death-dealing weaponry.
Highly addictive to open weapon chests and drool over some of the stuff in there. Level 57 - look out Crawermax!
As others have said, the guy isnt pulling down Kz2 at all, simply giving his OPINION. As an important member of the development team, he's hardly likely to say "Well, yeah, our graphics are good, but no better than Killzone "
Wouldnt be long before he was looking for new employment. The best devs DON'T NEED to compare (looking at you Turn 10). Their final product does the talking.

between Activision and IW; now the messy divorce with accusation and counter-accusation. And what of their b@st@rd child, MW2? Already scarred and unloved.
"Wont somebody think of the children!"
was defintely one of my best buys - a great little console with some excellent stuff to play on it.
Given its remote connectivety with the PS3 , I can't help thinking that Sony are missing out big time by not pushing a PS3 / PSP bundle deal. Would surely only help drive sales of both machines and PLAY TV.
Sony/Santa Monica didn't discover this guy for the main US launch and arrange to fly him in. Can you imagine him stood in line at the airport check in?
"Err......anything to declare, Mr Kratos, sir.....?"
"I AM THE GOD OF WAR !" !
is one of my favourite PS3 titles to date. I was saddened and suprised at all the criticism it received regarding gameplay length as its production values made it a must have - and must keep - game. Personally, its quality over quantity anytime, for me when I find a game I can enjoy as much as I did playing HS.
I only wish that Sony were able to give this (and Resistance FOM) a trophy support patch. More than happy to play both games again.
Not yet played GOWIII as I...
that Sony/Guerrilla would seriously consider Reach's release having any sort of negative repercussions for Kz3. In fact they would probably welcome a little healthy competition.
It seems recent articles on this site have been mainly concerned with Reach v Kz2. You can bet your house on the fact that Guerrilla haven't exactly stood still in developing ALL aspects of a game that I expect to eclipse Killzone2 .
Bungie are great developers who deserve the respect of all ...
*an improved browser (faster with fewer freezing issues)
*Trophy patches for Resistance FOM and Heavenly Sword (Oh and a sequel by someone please)
would obviously be one but the other.......?
I hope above all else, it would the original Killzone - remastered and polished a la GOW Collection.
Go on Guerrilla / Sony - make my year!
to put the dampers on the Halo Reach hype?
Go on Sony, I dare you....lol
if Quantic Dream commission top notch thriller writers (guests?) for similar future projects , its effectively like playing, rather than reading a blockbuster novel.
QD can supply the graphics, writer supplies a twist-and-turns plot and VOILA !! = happy gamers.
The TV commercial for such a high profile release (QUAD A?) needs to be right on the money.
Would have liked to have heard Brian Cox (Kz Visari) taking a shot at it. Real menace in his voicing.
When GG produced 'Behind the Bullet' didnt the devs say they were using new techniques that no doubt will serve to enhance the level of graphical excellence that is Killzone2 ? Guerrilla are well up there, with ND and Santa Monica.
One of my most treasured gaming moments was standing in the Stahl warehouse and marvelling at the light streaming through the roof and the amazing particle effects.
Real 'jaw on the floor stuff'.
especially the offline splitscreen co-op . Keep up the good work Gearbox.
Oops - I like it so much I posted twice!

my 80 GB phat's hard drive for a while now. Only thing that's put me off is being unable to copy and transfer my SP saves for Killzone 2 - which are protected.
