I like these guys a lot for listening to their fanbase, willing to listen and learn from one of the best dev teams in the business (ND) and for continuing to push the boundaries beyond their first outstanding effort, Infamous.
Infamous 2 deserves to be a day 1 buy for any PS3 gamer.
absolutely spot on with your comment. HS mo-cap is still unrivalled today (and yes, Uncharted 1 and 2 are amongst my favourite PS3 titles).
The Enslaved demo was good without being great but it's definitely lacking something when compared to Heavenly Sword (another favourite PS3 title).
Seems to me that this guy needs to be a little more careful with his thoughts before putting them into words.
NT took some bashing over his comments on the pressure and subsequent ...
AUTO DESTRUCT SEQUENCES lol
was ok ish and playing his character felt something like playing Nariko in HS. No only that but Nariko is definitely in that girl's bloodline.
One thing NT are almost without equal, are the facial animations. Real stunners here.
Really want to like - and buy this game - but too many others fast approaching. I hate making decisions.
better still, I'd probably give her to them. Second thoughts, maybe not - couldn't hate anyone that much. Besides, the woman was a weapon of mass destruction (shudders)
before last Sundays race at Monza? Bet he wishes he could have had a restart option and avoid Massa's Ferarri.
their review on the grounds that it would be incomplete in the time they were given, what does that say about those reviewers who have posted 'scores' - presumably in the same alloted time?
Just asking.
but with an install base of 40 million, MS HAS EVERY REASON to have as many, if not more, of their own developing companies as Sony do, churning out great games.
Its like building a mansion then removing the foundations, or buying a Ferarri and refusing to put petrol in the tank.
I can't think that any other company could follow such a business plan without expecting to go bust.
seem to fall into the FPS category but too many of them are in the traditional format with the result of being pretty 'samey'.
One game breaks the mould for me - and thats Borderlands. FPS with RPG and the result is one of the best and most addictive games I've ever played.
Really up for the next DLC at the end of the month. Gearbox FTW.
with as much money as they have to throw at advertising, why the hell can't they invest in top line exclusive developers ?
Im a PS3 gamer (not a hater) but Im totally baffled. Sony admit they can't compete financially with MS spending power.
Legit question to you 360 owners. Am I missing something?
was the very first PS3 title that truly blew me away - not just graphically but its animation, cutscenes, dialogue, voice acting, storyline, musical score - in fact the whole package that goes into making a game really outstanding.
HS did (and still definitely does) deserve a sequel, or a trophy patch at the very least. Enslaved doesnt push any of my buttons so far, the way HS did.
never really gets the credit it deserves for the part it brings to the whole gaming package . ANY piece of music from Uncharted (1 and 2) hits the sweet spot for me. Similarly, Kz2 has a mighty musical score thats just the business .
One of my favourites though, has to be No Heaven by Champion - theme to Borderlands.
Won't their MOVE version be the 24 carat solid gold one, with diamonds and ruby butt ons?
would just love a portable version of Uncharted - as well as Uncharted 3 for PS3 of course.
in a few titles this gen. In particular R:FoM and more recently, the outstanding Borderlands - both of which have the vertical splitscreen on my 40" TV. Dont know why, but I just get on much better with this splitscreen orientation .
As for other genres, Motorstorm is a heck of a lot of fun offline coop . Seems its one of the major prerequisites to me investing in many titles as Ive always had the most fun playing alongside my young son - hence my bigging up Borderlands .
...
both online and splitscreen is just awesome fun. Cant wait for the next DLC next month.
a hell of an expensive way for those, not in the know, to find out just what Kinect doesn't / wont / can't do ,when this thing releases in November.
for GG to reveal what their next IP is going to be, as I am for KZ3 in February. Well, almost ...
a couple of nights ago and ran up against a German guy at lvl 19, something like 2900 trophies - of which FIFTY! were platinum. Sure wish I hadn't compared trophy lists afterwards, now ! lol
Damn that Teutonic efficiency!
is still up for release today (Damn, have to wait until tomorrow for UK store to update)
Want to blast me some claptraps! lol
