Whatever this exclusive ends up being for the Xbox, I can't imagine that it will come from EA. I think they're still a little upset at not being to distribute TitanFall across the Xbx1/PS4. But it will be interesting to see what it ends up being for sure.

Why do most of the Nintendo doom and gloom articles start with a preface, that they're really Nintendo fans and that their opinions/theories/guess work are met with some sort heartfelt distress? Is this supposed to make the author's words more meaningful?
Are you saying Infamous is better then Japanese only games or are you saying Infamous is better than Final Fantasy VII, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Monster Hunters, Persona, and some Dragon Quest games? Cause if you are... wow... just wow.
But in all honesty what games actually make you think these days, within the major genres of 1st person/3rd person action, rpgs, or platformers?
@mikeslemonade how is it spin if the numbers clearly say the Wii U outsold the PS4? I thought the law of mathematics would say that's fact?
When's the last time you played a Mario game? There are plenty of levels in SMBWiiU or SMB3DW that are controller throwing difficult. DonkeyKong TP is one of the hardest platformers I've ever played.
And many games with tutorials are boring and have turned gamers away. I'm sure there's a balance to be created with teaching a player about the mechanics of a game without dumbing it down... I mean seriously do we really need a tutorial to play a 1st person shooter? Lo...
I agree, publishers want the game(s) to be more exessible to causals. It just turns me off to so many games like AC games. Everytime I start one up I know I'm probably going to be spending 45 minutes to an hour hearing/watching things about the game I can easily just figure out on my own. The difficulty (or lack there of) is topic for another day.
While agree to author's general assessment of gaming being easier, I think it's a little unfair to just focus in on Nintendo. I mean Infamous on hard was pretty straightforward, the tutorial at the begining of TitanFall is severly un-needed, or even bypassing Simcity's 30 minute tutorial by even my 8yr old niece can figure out. Wow, congrats to Nintendo, but those are some really low numbers. The combination of that tax hike and mobile gaming has to be just eating up sales potential for both Sony and Nintendo. I don't even know why Microsoft would bother releasing the Xbx1 there.
Great news for Nintendo, that being said console sales in Japan are getting hammered still by mobile gaming.
@xX-StolenSoul-Xx you're right Don't Starve and Outlast were/are awesome additions, I just feel like this has slowed down a bit. I just hope Sony isn't spreading themselves too thin with this service over three different platforms. Whatever, I'll just go ahead and buy Transitor this afternoon.

No one was "tricked" into buying an Xbox because it had Kinect. Early Xbox adopters bought it because it was the next xbox, I mean Kinect was either an added bonus or useless to them. Now that being said Microsoft coming out and saying Kinect and the Xbox "have" to coexist was obviously a ploy to instill importance into the accessory, but I can't name single person who bought a xbox one because it had kinect. Again, with the PS3 after the price reduction of the disc...
A game of that scope, at least from detail standpoint, needs a lot of skilled technical people working on it. After seeing how many glitches are in delayed Watch Dogs... please work on this game to make it shine and deliever!
