Watch EA's again, then focus in on The Sims presentation and the "woo-girl" in the crowd... you remember very quickly how terrible their presentation was.
Seriously... I fell for the "insider(s)" hype train hard on both sides this year... i feel abused.
Neither, but they both better than EA.
Their E3 last year was highlighted due to them capitalizing on Microsoft's terrible showing. This year I fell into the hype train trap... if hadn't shown the Uncharted clip there in the end, I'm pretty sure I'd be sleeping on the couch tonight. Sony diehards love Uncharted as Xbox fans love Halo... both got what they wanted today, but for the rest of us who wanted to see new games that weren't remastered, sequels, or indies... well there's always tomorrow?
Take aways from this E3:
Uncharted will be definitely be going on darker tone.
Vita is essentially dead, nothing more than a portal device for the PS4 PSNow.
Indies, Indies, Indies... not a bad thing, just a recurring theme for Sony
Focusing far more into the "media" aspect of things
Overall 7.5/10 (uncharted saving it) though if I was an Xbox fan, Sony gave no real reason to want to switch over, an...
You realize that was CG right?
I'm literally profusely apologizing to my wife for making her watch this presentation...
This started off pretty nicely... But is quickly teetering into EA territory
Lol take a wild guess on that answer.
This can't be a real demo of Battlefield... it didn't crash at all.
Seriously, they have 3 rather large and anticipated titles in Mirrors, ME, and Battlefront... but let’s show the same sports titles we release every single year.
You talk about a franchise that has been milked... I give you the Sims...
Playstation fan underwhelmed by Xbox presentation... shocking theme of the day.
Crackdown!!! Hooray!
Omg Phantom Dust, that takes me back.
A 100 freaking mp maps is just epic. Time load up on moutain dew code red, doritos, and call up my college buddies.
I feel like this is genre that is getting over saturated really quickly. However it's free to play, so I'll give it a shot. I do hope the work on the animations a little at least, they look extremely stiff.
Right... damn forgot about that madness
So if there are streaming issues on the big screen, are we allowed to pull out our cell phones and stream? Or will I get Shush'ed to death for using my phone in a theater?
Not enough is known about Bloodbourne other than its gory (which was an odd theme through out today). A LittleBigPlanet was about as surprising as another Mario game, its too big Sony franchise to not happen. Grim Fandango is really freaking cool... however, it's still a remake like Monkey's Island. I think both companies showed comparable franchises, but not really ones that would sway too people who are in the middle.
