Perhaps we should listen to what Andrew House said:
http://www.gamesindustry.bi...
"However, we did think there was an opportunity to reflect on the traditional lifecycle, and on 4K technology, and say maybe there's an opportunity, within the course of a normal lifecycle to offer something else, something a little bit be...
And yet:
"However, we did think there was an opportunity to reflect on the traditional lifecycle, and on 4K technology, and say maybe there's an opportunity, within the course of a normal lifecycle to offer something else, something a little bit better, for a segment of the market that feels that this is important."
How about that
MS asked gamers what they wanted and that has led to Scorpio "for a segment of the marke...
HalfLife 3 on Scorpio confirmed
So what does that say about the rumoured 4Tf Neo that hasn't even been announced?
So you're saying Neo is going to shaft 40m PS4 owners a year before Scorpio?
and samsung shafted 1080p TV buyers with 4K?
That's funny, because 90%+ of games ppl buy on console run on PC, yet every year 20m+ ppl run out and by the console version; COD.
Same for pretty much any multiplayer game.
Looks like ppl like playing on console.
But hey, you can prove me wrong when No Man's Sky comes out. I guess PC sales will rule according to you?
The so called high price of Oculus ($200 more than Sony) comes with numerous application:
-VR on PC
-VR on Scorpio
-First Person Video for drone owners
Oculus is also the higher spec VR, so the demanding gamer will go for the better tech.
As for the price of a PC, didn't you spam on numerous articles that everyone and their neighbours dog is going to get a gaming rig....yes, just check you comment history. So ever...
I'm not surprised by this.
Just take a stroll around here and you'll find the same thing.
Sad or pathetic, you decide.
It's clear that Scorpio and Universal Windows vision is a game changer and ppl know it, but are helpless to stop it.
Kudos to the Oculus team for bringing quality over quantity.
A pricier option but this falls right in line with MS vision, as Oculus will work with PC and Scorpio, and buying a game on Scorpio nets you the PC game as well.
Someone was thinking
Andrew House has pretty much confirmed, in interview, that it's not as powerful by downplaying the performance gap.
What I can't figure out is why we are here in June with no info on a (rumoured) release within 6 months.
So much wrong with what was said:
Didn't MS triple it's sales last gen and take 80m+ sales of Sony's previous gen (PS2) sales?
7 of the 8 games MS showed are all coming within the next 9 months; please read the list OR the link before you spam false info.
Same answer for new IP's, r*e*a*d what is on the link or the list, BEFORE you spam false info.
Please consider changing your tag
Based on your claims, I believe you were watching a different E3:
http://wccftech.com/expect-...
both showed 8 games:
Microsoft
ReCore – September 13
Forza Horizon 3 – September 27
Gears of War 4 – October 11
Dead Rising 4 – Holiday 2016
Halo Wars 2 – February 21, 2017
Scalebound – 2017

MS shows 7 games releasing across the next 9 months.
MS showed 1 in development.
That's showing the consumer what to expect if they make a purchase; not what to wait for.
Agree
It's not like VR was EVER a selling feature on X1.
Although I thought there was a PC augmentation option for Oculus Rift to work in X1?
Also, one has to wonder what some of these article authors do when they go to a BestBuy looking for any product...
Sees Samsung TV's
some 1080p
some 4K
some curved
runs out of store screaming; Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Half Life 3 on Scorpio confirmed, lol
If I understand you correctly, you are saying there is no way Neo will be 4K, since Andrew House has already been downplaying the power gap in interviews?
Either way
Welcome to the MS store.
Will that be MasterCard or Visa?
Namegame...
More like when a game is announced and not released till 10 years later; TLG
More like announcing Agent and it's still MIA
More like being the month of June and not letting potential buyers know there is a new console on the horizon.
Kind of like the X1 and PS4 then, not a big difference?
