That game sells a small fraction of what BO sells, and I doubt there will be a need to reprint copies in 6 years.
A record has been set indicating a never before seen impact from a 6 year old game, #dealwithit
In that case it would apply to 42 Countries and not just 6.
If you actually read the article you would know that it is the falling value of the currency against the US dollar that lead to the change:
"In Mexico, the price of Xbox LIVE Gold rose last Feb. 18, an increase of over 65% as a result of the devaluation of the Mexican peso against the dollar. "
Never mind just checked your comment history, carry on spamming X1 article...
"In Mexico, the price of Xbox LIVE Gold rose last Feb. 18, an increase of over 65% as a result of the devaluation of the Mexican peso against the dollar. "
Maybe you should read the article?
Why would the price in US dollars have to change for ppl paying US dollars.
If ppl in Mexico payed for XBL in US dollars the price of XBL would still be the same, only the cost to exchange funds changes.
Never mind, just...
I wonder if a ****(SIX YEAR OLD)***** game that sells 60,000 units is considered a success now days then ?
Fixed
and
Yes, it is
Nope
BO sales just jumped 1,600% on Amazon because of BO via BC.
Through what?
Watching haters come on a thread they claim to have no interest in and then get proven wrong.
Amazon reports 1,600% increase in BO sales
Amazon reports an increase of 1,600% in BO sales, aka, a game changer, a record.
Newsflash
BO sales went up 1,600% on Amazon now that it's BC

******Look at the 360, it shipped with a traditional DVD drive*********
I always get a laugh when it's suggested that a product that launched in 2005 should have a feature that wasn't released until 2006.
I assume you must think very high of MS as you expect them to be capable of time travel.
You might want to go back and look at the financial reports from MS for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.
Xbox 360 reached 28m shipped in 2008. My guess is they will easily pass that this year.
Or one could just read the current reports where MS points out how much better the X1 is doing.
Don't forget the other Digital foundry Face-offs, PS4 vs Neo
How "disappointed" would you be if you thought you bought the manufacturers primary focus only to find out in less than 3 years that you bought the bargain model?
That's what is called an "apples to apples comparison. 40 Countries to 42 Countries, not 42 Countries to 124 Countries.
That's what share holder care about:
-has the brand expanded...yes, every generation, unlike its completion
-is it profitable...yes
You might want to read the article:
"Seeing as the current Xbox One is just over two years old and its sales are tracking ahead of the Xbox 360, the next five to eight years will likely be more successful than the recently defunct Xbox 360."
and
"Sony has a reason for doing this seeing as the Japanese giant will release its PSVR goggles later in the year."
It would be nice to know that a manufactu...
If the tech works as advertised then it will be the beginning and become the standard.
That and the full DVR capability; currently a rumour.
Time will tell.
Last gen a consumer felt his/her purchase of a console was the manufactures prime focus and the best option for gaming for 7 (PS3) or 8 (360) years.
No one likes to think the got the Cadillac only to find out they got the Rio later. What term will the base model...
ROFL
You don't enjoy 3rd party?
So you didn't buy or count Bloodborne? lol
Interesting your choice of the word "embarrassment", MS more than tripling it's install base is a huge sense of pride and accomplishment. Bit loosing 80m of your fanbase PS2 to PS3, that fits your adjective perfectly.
It's also directly related to the subject of this article, the 360's success.
...
Did it also have a ginormous spike in sales on Amazon...No
Did the online player count have a ginormous spike...No
Have retailers across the UK come forward to say they can't keep up with demand...No
1 + 1+ 1 = 3
The only "BS" here is from the sad downplayers
