I would say your fine, try to get into some classes that are related to game design though. If all else fails you can always fall back on a programming job at Boeing or some software engineering firm.
Getting an internship at the company you want to work for is a sure way to have a job waiting for you too.
I wonder if Sony is locking out part of the processor like they did on the psp. I think it is neat to get games that look better 2 or 3 years down the road but it would be nice if Sony just allowed developers to use the full potential from the start. Then again I guess they have to streamline the OS footprint or whatever, still though.
A game has to sell loads of copies for you to enjoy it? I'm sorry but that is just sad.
Almost as bad as having to go to class and do the hw. Hits you on two fronts: time and money.
I hope they don't nerf pyromancy, my build relies on it quite a bit. Same for iron flesh, that spell saves my butt in tight situations.

Quite honestly the difficultly is not the reason why I like Dark Souls and Demons Souls.
The enemy design is unique, the atmosphere is dark and brooding and hostile, the combat controls are tight, the rpg elements are well molded, and the storyline is well told by the npcs and items.
I think the games difficultly is appropriate to the setting they are trying to portray. No more no less.
Sounds cool, though I've already got one of the user created ones that is decent. And it was free.

Hopefully they get the bug fixes in place before release in the US. I'd hate to be playing and have a NPC disappear. That happened to me on Fallout3 with Colin Moriarty, very annoying, had to hack his terminal just to continue the main story.
Digital copies run the same amount as the retail hard copies so the only advantage to buying on psn is that you can use the game on multiple consoles. If they eliminate that advantage of it then what's the point of buying digital?
At least if your console crashes with the disc you won't have to call up Sony and beg for more downloads.

I think internet strategy guides and faqs basically killed the difficultly in video games in this era. Imagine if back in the day anytime you got stuck in an area you could download a map online, or if you got stuck on a boss you could watch the youtube video.
Although I also think games in general have become much easier too. At any rate, play demon's souls, as its a nod to old school difficultly.

I just beat Illusion of Gaia the other day, excellent game. I finally killed the jeweler gem guy after like 15 years. Also since I had a turbo button the ending was even good again, stupid text speed...
Yes but how many times during that 80 hours will the game freeze? Will his save file corrupt after the first 30 hours in a row?
I think with enough monster and red bull he can stay awake that long(or get a heart attack) but I don't think the game can make it that long.
