I really enjoyed 3d dot heroes. I should go back and try to get some of those insane trophies. I would like to add the 2 penny arcade games as they are hilarious.
Has anyone else played the 2 penny arcade on the rain slick precipice of darkness games? I feel bad cause the game is awesome but I've never seen another person on psn who has played it.
I can't even think of another game that has you killing dirty dirty hobos (mmmm... hobo meat), fruit humping robots, and carnies. I guess since it was an rpg no one was interested.
The movie rental sounds like an interesting idea. I've always thought that Sony should have made the digital rentals 99 cents considering that I can go to red box and rent any number of movies for a buck a night.
Nice find
Proof that Sony doesn't have to give us anything at all. Although if they do give out some free stuff I certainly won't argue.
I just hope that while they have psn down they are taking the opportunity to upgrade some of the servers and services they offer. In addition to upgrading the security for our credit cards and whatnot.
Pretty sure Sony will continue to support digital downloads. Ever notice that the cost of a game on psn is the same as out at wal-mart or where ever? That is almost surly because sony pockets the cut that the would normally go to the stores. So they have a large incentive to push downloads, they make money.
Wish they would pass the savings along to gamers, although I certainly understand why they don't.
I never really understood why sony priced the go so much higher than the 3000. Why would you price something with less features higher than something with all the features. It would be like if sony released a super small ps3 without a bluray slot and wanted 600 bucks for it.
If they really wanted to sell this thing then it needed to hit 99 bucks, that would have been the sweet spot I think. I guess sony never could get the production costs low enough to sell at that low ...
Free psn content huh? That might track with the error message I got right before psn went down. I tried to get into the psn store and got a really weird error message. Something to the effect of 'no further funds can be added to your account at this time'. Maybe hackers tried to give everyone free psn bucks?
I just hope they don't have my debit card information now.
I think that it is easier to break a lock than to design one that is unbreakable. Totally agree with you.
I'm surprised the hacking community didn't take credit for this attack to be honest. I guess they finally realized that gloating only gives Sony one more way to find out who did it. Still I hope that they are caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Yes lets hope for something that will cause 3 more updates for the ps3. I much rather Sony work on new features than fighting off hackers all the time.
I would love to help make the next dead space. Sadly if I worked for EA I'd probably get trapped on some crappy sports game. *shudders* I hate sports games in almost any capacity.
I got the same error on trying to get into the psn store. Its a little scary as I have my debit card on my account. Once I logged my account out I couldn't log back in either.
I think we are just approaching a level of realism that some people are just uncomfortable with. Think about it, if you rip someone's face off there is going to be a lot of blood and gore. People are not made of skittles after all.
I personally like the idea of dismembering someone a limb at a time in screaming gory agony. I guess it just satisfies my inner serial killer.
Looks like that wii finally had something hard core to put in it lol. Sorry it was just too tempting not to write that.
I was thinking about the same sort of thing but with the ngp and the ps3. It would be pretty neat.
It would have to have some other cool aspect to it to make it worthwhile though, because once the analogs on the unit wore out you would have to buy a new ngp. That would cost alot more that just another dualshock 3.
I wonder what Nintendo is going to price the wii2 at. If they really pack as much power as a ps3 and have blu-ray capabilities then should we expect it to be $400? I mean the 3ds is 250 surely it will be more than that. Also can you imagine what those controllers with the 6'' screen are going to run when regular controllers now cost like $55? I don't think I'll be an early adopter at any rate.
I bought the original snes cartridge.
I bought the ps1 compilation that had it.
I also I bought the remastered ds copy.
I just don't know if I want to pick up a 4th copy. Eh, I probably get it once it goes down to a cheap price.
I don't want a controller that has to plug into another controller just to function, that's just dumb. The controller needs to run independently and preferably run on lithium ion batteries, can't tell you how much I hate hunting around for batteries because the ones from the wii mote are in the xbox controller or the tv remote or whatever.
I personally helped to secure 3 of those sales, glad to read its done so well. Dark Souls is going to be awesome.
I guess what we are seeing could just be a prototype.
