You do know that you can organize the icons on XMB so that they are not all in a pile right? Also the only thing that the UI is 'smoothly integrated' into is ad space. I will certainly admit that patching is much faster on the Xbox though, makes you wonder what Sony is doing differently.
PS I gave you an agree for your value is subjective bit, seems logical.
That's cool. Because I think paying for Xbox Live is a waste of money when I already pay my ISP and for the console.
Well that's the nice thing about PlayStation plus membership: if you don't like it, you don't HAVE to have it to play online. However if you want to play online on the Xbox 360 you must pay for Xbox Live.
I personally think that the game's perceived difficultly is highly dependent on how you play the game. For example if you are the kind of person who goes and reads online strategy guides before you even attempt a boss, then you will know the tricks to beating it and probably beat it on the first or second try.
Also if you tend to summon many blue phantoms to aid you then even if you don't know whats going on they probably do and can 'drag' you through the l...
The same voice actor is used in the Ratchet and Clank series (Ratchet). I thought he did a good job, certainly better than the rest of voice acting done around that time.
The Atari video game based on ET didn't do so hot though. Isn't there an entire landfill filled with those games somewhere?
Just for fun:
My first experience with RPGs was back in the NES era. My brothers and I got Dragon Warrior as a part of a Nintendo Power magazine sign up offer. Ever since then I have been hooked on them.
My Uncle told us to level up around the castle at the beginning. We leveled there for like 3 hours before he came back by to see how far we had gotten in the game. Lol he was like, 'what the heck are you guys doing!?'
Good times
That would be awesome, as most of the people I know would probably use PC for it. I've not read anything about it yet though.
I'm sure MS didn't turn them down for FF14 in general, probably just the 'initial' price SE wanted to port it to the 360.
As a side-note: Does the 360 have keyboard and mouse support? This seems like the sort of game that it would be good for. I use my kb all the time while questing with other peeps on wkc so I definitely think it would be useful.
After reading the article its looks like these guys basically did like a 'backyard' experiment. There is no hard data because they didn't take any, they didn't even place a thermometer into the cabinet they were testing out of so they did not know the final temperature at system shutdown. They probably also did not place the power brick from the 360s in the cabinet with the system. They also didn't even give you how many cubic feet of space the systems were tested in. ...
How much trade in value do you guys give out for the old ones at your store? The closest GameStop to me is about 30 mins away so I don't go very often. Thanks in advance.
I must have spent at least 300 hours across my 4 quests in FFT and FFT: War of the Lions. That game is ridiculously good.
I like either. Basically if it has some sort of character advancement system in place(whether through levels, stats, or upgradeable weapons) I will generally enjoy the game.
First time I fought tower knight was EPIC. There is no other word to describe it properly. Granted I died the first time I fought him but still...EPIC. When I finally did beat him the since of accomplishment I felt was off the scale. The only thing I could even compare it to is when I beat the final boss in NES Zelda II: Adventures of Link. Totally exhilarating.
LBP is just about the best game I can think of to play with my gf on. She absolutely loves that game.
Absolutely love this game. My favorite game this generation hands down. Did this game remind anyone else of the SNES Secret of Mana? I mean think about it, both games are action/rpgs with a good multi-player element and an awesome weapon upgrade system. Granted that DS is a lot darker in its setting, but they have similar elements. Maybe its just because I enjoyed both games so much.
Well looking at a potential bright side to this bad news, they may decide to give the first expansion pack for free with the ps3 version.
I think the people that sign up for this stuff so naively should automatically be entered as potential candidates in the Darwin awards.
I'm getting really tired of the people that support the Xbox using WKC as a whipping boy. In my book WKC>FF13, as I've already got the platinum on FF13(~140hrs) and have put 180+ hours in WKC I feel like my opinion has some credibility. Its a shame the American media feel the need to bash every JRPG that hits our shores.
@sikbeta:
Totally agree, pretty much exactly what I wanted to write.
To answer your question: YES!
What does a decent blu-ray player run right now around, around $200 I should think. Maybe this black Friday we will see some $99 ones, but even then its still worth it. Especially for those individuals like me who already have several devices hooked up to the HDTV, and want an all-in-one device so as not to further clutter up an already busy home entertainment setup.
