I just don't download enough of the little 10 dollar games to make it worth my time. I will be interested to try it out for free however. If I really like my free month I may sub up.
My thought exactly. Time is running out to plat the game, the new one comes out in a few months. Its lame but I got burnt out on it once I hit gr12, I should of just stuck with it for a bit more and I could of had plat already.
Jump on wkc again. I was just starting to get back into it to grab my platinum trophy when psn went down. Lol, guess I'm in a definite minority with that game choice.

Given that the person who did the hack knew so much about Sony's security measures it wouldn't surprise me if they were an disgruntled ex-employee. Or perhaps they had help from someone inside the system. Hopefully the FBI catches them.

Its the reason we get overpriced dlc, patches for broken games, and fan-boy flame wars. Not to mention the security issues present this generation, I never had to enter any personal information in the old generations so it was never in jeopardy.
I was just getting back into wkc to try and get the platinum before the sequel comes out in August so I'd like it to be up soon. Although I did just pick up New Vegas for 20 bucks.
I agree so far. However we have yet to see E3, so I remain optimistic.
I think its going to come down to the price and features on the hardware. It would really behoove Nintendo to make their console future proof, because if they don't then MS and Sony are going to steamroll them when they release their own consoles in a few years. You can bet Sony's next console will be a big step up in the technology department and probably MS as well.
The 'hard-core' 3rd party titles that Nintendo is hoping to attract to its console might balk at the thought of having to optimize enough to avoid an install. Especially early on when the install base is small and that version of the game is already out on ps360.
After all I know of several games that run anywhere from 2-5gbs. That would eat up 8 gb in only a few games.

Did anyone ever get the gutsy bat? I played through the game like 5 times and never bumped into it. I even used save state on an emulator to try and get it for like 2 hours and never got it to drop.

That's fun, we barely made it 12 hrs after Nintendo's announcement and we're already getting the doom and gloom articles. Oh well, at least it isn't another article about psn being down...
I guess I just figured Nintendo would want to take advantage of the holiday craze this year to ensure that their new console creates a huge buzz like the wii did when it released. I'm sure they would love it if the wii2 remained hard to impossible to find for xmas and the first half of the year. But no I didn't skip reading the first sentence of the first paragraph just to write down the last bit.
I just hope the controllers don't use AA batteries. I had to buy 2 sets of rechargeable batteries this gen and it still seems like I have to steal batteries from some other device every time I want to play the wii.
