While this is 100% true, I don't see either Microsoft or Sony finding ways around this to incorporate it more into their consoles to allow people to play their games regardless of if the official servers are shut down.

I think it's BS that certain stores get special bonuses. It should be the same preorder bonuses regardless of where you preorder from providing it's a legit store.
Hear the same thing every year.. amount of times defenders bring players down in the box and no penalty is given.. or how about when you're on the ball and the player tackles you yet they get a free kick? Sony's lineup does seem like it could do away with the competition again especially if there focus is almost entirely on games. However while the saying is getting slightly old, the winners of E3 as always will be us the gamers.

O rly? I think Bethesda would strongly disagree with that. Honestly think because most games are linear, they don't offer the superior experience. Games like skyrim feel far superior to me but this would probably change if every man and his dog was making sandbox games.
Don't want to defend Microsoft too much because I have little faith in them these days but I can fully understand the inclusion of GTA4 and FF13.. while they might be multiplat games, the announcements were VERY significant as it was the time when the Xbox needed to gain momentum on the PS brand and what better way than by taking away two of it's biggest name exclusives?

@Bitbydeath If the Wii U specs are the same as the next gen Xbox and PS yet at a more affordable price, then yeah they should be scared. At the sort of specs the next consoles should be running provided they are going for the next generation graphics, then it just isn't feasible for Nintendo to price their console in the price range that attracted the wii players. I'd be very surprised if they went this route.

If I actually cared about this game, I'd bookmark this interview and spam it all over their forums come the NDA being lifted and it turns out to be another bog standard theme park MMO.
Tbh I'd be more shocked if they didn't talk next gen. Further more, I'd be extra shocked if they focused on the gaming aspect of the next gen consoles. I predict both will be spending more time pushing for their brands as entertainment products as opposed to gaming consoles.

Well seeing as they'd be releasing their next COD game next year, I can only assume that means the next gen systems will be out next year.

LOOOOOL! Well according to EA player performance momentum never existed. Momentum has existed and you'd have to be blind not to see it. I fully expect fifa 13 to be no different and Rutter has said this to address a large proportion of the forum community. Ofcourse when momentum is in the game, the devs will continue to deny it exists.
