It looks interesting and has potential but I only use my xbox for games.. until developers show their support for it and integrating it into their games, it's pointless for me.

1: Ubisoft: Despite not being too interested in Assassins Creed, Watch Dogs stole the convention.

2: Sony: Fantastic first announcement with Beyond, with a fairly strong showing and TLOU demo was mind-blowing but their whole conference was tainted by that awful book showing thing which was really dull and dragged on for far too long.

3: Microsoft: Nothing new to get excited about but the Halo 4 showing has me very excited. Sadly the rest was a bit of a let d...

This game is shaping up to be something very special and memorable however I'm still a little curious as to how it plays.. watching the demo made the combat seem like some of the most gritty realistic and engaging combat ever seen in the game.. I hope this is the optimal way to play and not just naughty dog putting on a show for the E3 crowd.

What better way to kick off the next gen than with Watch Dogs. I kind of hope it's a current gen game though as I don't want to have to wait that long to play it.

If it wasn't for Watch Dogs, I'd say this game would have been most likely the best game of E3. It looks absolutely amazing and so brutal.. I hope as a new IP it sells well because it really does look like something special.

Is it me or is it just hard to get as excited for these sort of games after playing arkham city? Not really a fair comparison but Rocksteady really spoiled us.

@blacktric

Agreed, Sony have to stop revealing all their games before hand.. it's a real buzz kill. However Beyond's announcement is definitely a highlight outside of Watch Dogs and the footage of the last of us was just so brutal.. both games are day one preorders for me.

That demo dragged on way too long and was just painful to watch. I guess the kids will probably enjoy it though.

More appealing than Resident Evil 6 tbh.. at least they didn't sell out their franchise to try and appeal to a broader audience.

Well it generated more excitement in me after their very first game announcement than the whole of the Microsoft conference. Onwards and upwards!

Think most of the more vocal people at E3 are more psyched for this too.. the amount of cheering for Sony is far superior to anything we've heard so far with the possible exception of after the Watch Dogs footage.

First game reveal in and Sony have already generated more interest in me than the whole of the Microsoft conference. Great way to follow up after that pretty annoying intro video they shown.

It was very underwhelming with Smart Glass really being the only notable pleasant surprise for me. It wasn't as cringe-worthy as the last two E3s from them but it really wasn't much better.

Shootmania didn't really impress me.. looked like a poor man's Quake 3.

Lol if this game didn't have enough hype already.. I can't wait for this game.

I've been playing since the first day of early access and I think it's worth playing but either something to focus all your attention on (if you don't want to pay a subscription fee) or if you can afford, play it in bursts. It's a good game and the story focus is great a lot of time but the more you play it, the more apparently it's shortcomings are.

If you like Star Wars, defo try it at least.

Yeah, whoever created that backstory/trailer deserves an award for the amount of hype it generated.. After seeing that I wasn't sure what to expect but with it being open ended and with the sort of options they shown, I think they've just put every single "new IPs don't do well" naysayers to shame and as you so eloquently put in, going to be making them eat some humble pie.

"It looks pretty interesting"

Understatement of the year on n4g?

They just stole the convention with Watch Dogs.. wasn't really expecting anything to get this excited for.

I agree with this and I'm not hating on Sony.. it'll take something huge to beat this announcement. Everything about this game just looks too damn awesome.. the cyberpunk/dystopia feel mixed with the open ended feel of GTA.. this game is pure H-Y-P-E!

Right people, new IP here, time to prove these nay sayers wrong and show how successful a new IP can be. After this E3 reveal, I think it's going to take a lot for this game not to be hugely successful.

I'm even going to go out on a limb seeing as we haven't seen Sony's cards but for me I reckon this will be one of the biggest talking points of E3.
