A control based mech game with kinect functionality which could actually make sense? For me personally, this is the sort of thing which would make me look to getting Kinect providing the game was aimed at the core market. Too bad it's Capcom who are behind it, instantly makes me want to say no.

The thing is they could.. Video gaming allows you to get inside the main character like no other form of entertainment. The problem mainly lays with the perception of games as being something to play as opposed to something to experience.
I've subbed since launch and still enjoying it. The secret is to just play it in bursts. I'll play for like four hours a day for a week, put it down for two weeks then come back and repeat. Having said that though, I can see why people would quit.. the game just has no soul. Going to a new area there isn't a sense of excitement because it's drab, lifeless and and just plain boring. Compare that to the imagination and love that goes into the gaming worlds of games like WoW, SW...
This guy is living in the past. If you want a "smart" shooter go play the original Ghost Recon games.. I'm left confused as to how they can just justify the "tactical" element in these current gen Ghost Recon titles. GRAW was a run and gun arcade fest not a slow methodical planning shooter of it's predecessors and the old Rainbow Six games.
If you want a thinking man's shooter go play Battlefield or Starhawk.
Why do developers do day 1 DLC? When people buy a game on launch they have £40 worth of new content why would anyone need anymore? Anyway I hope this isn't DiscLockedContent if so then I'll add Ubi next to Crapcom as companies I won't support.

So you never made a mistake like that when you was younger? I made LOADS and learned from each of them. Maybe you're some sort of ultra smart Harvard grad who is immune to mistakes or some BS but for many of us, we learn from our mistakes and that is all what this is.
I guess a young man learned a lesson the hard way. While in truth he should always read what he's signing, he is young so cut the guy some slack.
I consider it a good thing that it sucked and hopefully done poorly in sales. The last thing Star Wars fans want is a reason for Lucas to justify making such garbage.
But there is double standards there.. you don't see sp games get lower scores because the mp is added on. You judge a game by what it sets out to accomplish.. this is a mp game so should be judged as such. Lowering the score for this game because of the SP would be like lowering Skyrim's score because it doesn't have a mp component.
I wasn't around for Halo 2 sadly but anything that gives people something to aim for like level 50 gets my vote.

Just give us back the Halo 3 level 50 ranking system.. it was so much fun trying to get to 50 on some playlists and actually gave you a goal to try and reach. Not to mention matchmaking overall was just plain awful on Reach.
This wouldn't surprise me at all. Microsoft starting to realize that a glorified Wii isn't going to get them the success they want so now they'll focus the majority of their efforts on other ways to entice the family. Think it's time to face the music my fellow gamers, to Microsoft we're nothing more than that unattractive ex gf strung along for closure while they seek greener pastures.

Too little too late for me I'm afraid. I can almost understand some of it like with DLC costumes for fighting games but locking 1/4th of the game for like six+ months is taking the piss. Even if they take out their DiscLockedContent they're still going to try and squeeze every last penny out of their once loyal fanbase as they can so imho they can still fuck off in my eyes.
