What a retarded comparison.. how can you compare an FPS game to a TPS? Gears is like nothing else out there and can't really compared to anything. Resistance if anything is more comparable to Halo as at least they're both Sci Fi FPS games which deal with aliens invading planets.
Was any word of still actually needing the Tier 1 discs? I registered my version but don't have the game anymore.. hope I can still play.

Only 4m? I'd expect more tbh.. gears 3 is a brilliant game and seeing as it's one of the few rare core exclusives for the 360 this year, I expect most shooter junkies to pick it up seeing as there has been a quiet period for decent mp shooters.
Please tell me Cliffy B didn't try and claim that halo 2 was broken and Halo 3 got it right? I'm pretty sure most Halo fanatics I know were very critical of Halo 3 claiming Halo 2 was a far superior game.

Devs listen to players when it suites them.. as a pvper I can safely say not once have the devs ever listened to my requests or made any effort what so ever to bring back real world pvp.
Also how long did it take them to do the armour looks change? I'm sure that's been suggested for years.. I remember noticing this back in vanilla yet it takes them...
I thought the fight scene was awful. It was as if the makers watched the Matrix like 10 times and thought of ways they could possibly recreate the cool bits but instead of doing it properly gave it to a bunch of film students to do.
Paul W.S Anderson has done some good movies.. I don't see why he treats the RE franchise so badly. I blame hollywood more so though.. I mean think about it, RE movies are crappy little action romps with zombies which probably make a nice bit of money so they don't see the point in changing.
If any movie ever needed a reboot, it's this stinker. Only way that will ever happen is when it stops bringing in the $$.

Former pes convert and have to say since Fifa 09, haven't been able to play a pes game. Loving the fifa demo especially the new tactical defending however even I have to admit, the new pes demo is a lot better than I was expecting. Don't know if I'll go as far as to buy it full price, however if I ever fancy a change from fifa, would happily pick it up.

Halo Reach came dangerously close to not being Halo though. In essence it was but ultimately it felt way too different.
I hope not.. I don't want to have to unlock weapons. One of the main elements COD is seriously lacking in is the accountability of power weapons in the small amount of strategy that the game requires.

I'm glad Final Fantasy is there. They've milked those games sooo bad releasing them on every single platform possible. Just wait until Vita hits, they'll probably re-release all of them all over again.
