Free to play has very little impact on WoW and to me is nothing more than a a way for a sub par game to stay afloat. I don't see what this obsession is with the f2p model on here but the large majority of mmo fans have absolutely no problems paying a monthly subscription for a premium mmo game.
Lol it's a rumour and look what the website is.. nothing to see here people. Clearly it's complete and total BS.
Exactly, how could anyone be naive enough to believe Atlus would release a playable online game at launch?
Don't worry they'll get it right for next Christmas with Ultimate DMC
Way to post a spoiler in the video preview picture.
While I prefer mp orientated games myself.. on losing interest on sp games I have just one word to counter the argument.. Skyrim. I usually find sp games boring especially those with a more linear approach to them. Skyrim though has completely changed my view on sp games and I've barely played anything else since it came out.
Is that the core market's fault or Microsoft for how they've presented Kinect thus far? Give the core gamers something kinect wise which will truly blow them away that isn't just some gimmicky raise your hand to cast a spell and they'll embrace it.
I guess it would be a nice little touch. I wouldn't really want to be frantically waving my hands around to slash with my sword or anything though. Nice little touch would be to be able to shout to activate your dragon powers too. Still wouldn't be something worth paying Kinect's rrp for.
Wait he considers it a graduation when going from making one of the most creative jrpgs to what will most likely turn into a generic medieval setting?
I really hope this game falls flat on it's head and fails hard. Japanese developers have a creative way with games that simply put, western developers just don't get.. they create some of the most stunningly imaginative worlds which are a joy to play through. If you take away that creative imagination from them in favor...
I just hope the "deeper" content" isn't purely gear progression based. The last thing I want after WoW is an endgame based solely on grinding dungeons/heroics for the best gear, waiting until next patch/expansion and rinse n repeat. That's not "deeper content" in my eyes.
Fingers crossed Bioware won't go this route entirely.
Maybe because EA wanted to just make a good profit and create something really successful? Ofcourse Mr Money would never understand such a concept.
Why do people assume WoW will bleed subscriptions? Personally I hate the endgame of WoW but the lore, the setting, the graphics, the music, the combat.. everything else about it is damn near perfect. As a huge star wars fan I'm pretty sure ToR will take up a lot of my time but I certainly won't be uninstalling WoW in a hurry.
Urgg when will the Japanese learn to just focus on creating good Japanese inspired games? If I want to play a western rpg i'll stick to Bethesda and Bioware thanks.
In the age of ADHD COD kiddies, it's unlikely they'd risk such a move sadly.
Kinect 2 that is that accurate is all good and well but seeing how much it'd cost to bundle something like that with a next generation console, will it really offer enough to attract the early adopters? Then again with Microsoft's marketing prowess, it will sell out regardless of how deserving it will be.
Abusing franchises for profit, i'd say Activision and movies/hollywood have a lot in common.
Riots over shop sales? That is ridiculous.
Only in America... completely insane. Still people can count themselves lucky if pepper spray was the worst thing to report.
Harry Potter grown up? you trolling? Seriously I usually hate single player games but Skyrim hasn't left my console for two weeks and I've already logged around 60 hours of play.
How on Earth can a tsunami/earthquake effect such a thing? If anything I'd say it would be easier to release DLC than a whole new physical product. Not to mention MVC series isn't even that big in Japan. Seems like a piss poor excuse as to why they are milking their fans.
