Battlefield is slower paced and much larger and actually takes skill to fire the guns and deal with the recoil. The ADD/ADHD generation of cod players generally hate battlefield.

Far Cry 3 could be good and I'm very tempted by Borderlands 2. The new Medal of Honor game has a lot to prove.. I'm currently expecting BF3 mixed with MW3 like the original was a mix of BC2 and MW2. The new CS has potential but from the footage I've seen has a long way to go. Halo 4 though just leaves me depressed as a Halo fan.. From what they're doing with it I might as well just buy the new Call of Duty where it'll be done a lot better.

WoW did in Europe alone when it was released. Also many players have already quit the game for various reasons hence the 30 days free play offer for former level 50s/legacy level 6s.
