Shameful tbh.. while Fifa Street is a good game the stripped down online options is woefully bad and generally not something you associate with when it comes to EA Sports games.
Cruel April Fools joke is very cruel.
More like Xbox Free? LOOOOOOOL!
Hope this is the start of something special and that they are going to show they are planning on learning from their mistakes especially in the pr/communications front. I followed all game news for this religiously for the first 4-6 weeks of the game coming out but after the fairly awful level of community service I just became discouraged and stopped caring.
Isn't 500,000 from donations a little unrealistic? It can't possibly cost that much to port a psp game? Tbh seeing as it's donations, 100,000 sounds a more realistic attainable goal but I really do hope this can help bring more games over to the states (providing they're region free).
O dear, hope Gary Glitter doesn't hear about this.
Hey Bobby
It's okay, for people like you there is always call of duty.
Yay! Looking forward to this, could do with a bit more diversity in console game releases.
So on the 20th we can actually potentially be able to play the game without some annoying kid camping in the corner with the heartbeat sensor? SWEET i'm in !
Hard to choose? Sakaguchi + Uematsu = easy decision in my eyes.
I wonder if they take out the DiscLockedContent from the pc copies? If they don't the "secret" characters will be hacked and playable online within the first 48 hours.
It's ironic that people these days are suggesting someone gets fired for suggesting free DLC.. it wasn't long ago that PC gamers would enjoy free maps and everything. Battlefield 2 for instance not only had free maps, the developers even released their own ww2 mod for the game. Should have seen all the content EPIC used to bring out for UT games and even used to do things like make something unreal contest offering huge money sums to mod makers for creating mods for their UT games. No...
Does the guy have any actual affiliation with MvC or fighting games in general? Anyone who doesn't understand what's going on will say it's crap but as a fighting game lover I have to say it's one of the most fun fighting games this generation. Cheap, cheesey but a hell of a lot of fun.
Lol good job he is a well known figure in the industry.. otherwise he'd go to his next interview mention he worked in the "creativity" department for activision and on call of duty then get laughed out the interview room.
Tbh while most of the article holds true, sadly the gap between console gaming and PC gaming is getting smaller and smaller. Sadly it's not because console capabilities are getting better either, it's because most developers put console gaming as their main priority.
A case in point.. Battlefield 3 mod support. As someone who was introduced to PC gaming back just before Battlefield Vietnam hit, I find it an absolute disgrace that DICE haven't released modding fun...
Clearly you're not a PC gamer.
From the sounds of it we get far better trade in prices over here at least than gamestop give thanks mainly to CEX and gamestation's match it price. But yeah used games sell for stupid amounts.. why pay £38 for a game used when you can pay £40 for it brand new? I'd rather pay the extra £2 out of spite for the ripoff prices.
Good article, very rare for me to enjoy articles like this on this site so thanks for taking the time to write it.
For me personally ethics play a role in purchases. I generally have strong opinions on unethical business practices/decisions and wish I could follow through with them more often but tbh, if I knew everything there was to know about everything I usually buy, I'd probably stop buying 90% of what I buy.
For me currently, in terms of ethical pr...
Depends how you review it I guess.. clearly the game wasn't designed with the hardcore gamer in mind. Maybe as a fun party game it's pretty good? Personally I agree it looks like a piece of turd from what I've seen but then again I'm not the target audience.
