As they haven't released anything decent in a while. Sure they're putting support behind the 360 but they're all flawed, mediocre games that I have no desire to play on my 360, will definitely not be buying for my PS3 if they're released. Judging by their current pedigree, I don't hold much hope for FFXIII or VersusXIII (if this game even comes out this generation at all).
Maybe it's because my gaming tastes have changed. I used to be a rabid JRPG fan but after playing so many, I...
First party is in-house or a developer that the studio owns.
Second-party is a company that is independent but is contracted and primarily works for the one console.
Third party is a company like Capcom or Bethesda that makes games for all platforms.
The company line will always be no price cuts in the foreseeable future. They'll only announce it a few weeks before it actually drops. Reason? They'll kill their potential sales between the annoucement and the drop. They most definitely won't announce it months in advance.
Fallout 3 didn't even win the RPG category but Bethesda gets developer of the year AND is the runner-up for overall GotY?
...you're losing interest, not because of this video but by the 29/40 it got in Famitsu? You sheep.
Imagine how amazing NMH and Mad World would look in crisp HD if they made versions for the PS3/360.
As none of the previews done so far have mentioned any issues with the framerate. Could be an isolated issue on his specific console or he's just trying to find something, even if untrue, to downplay the game. Methinks the latter.
Because sales data shows that the PS3 in the 2 years on the market is outpacing the sales the 360 had in its first 2 years. So if the PS3 is a failure, what does that make the 360? Year to date info also shows the PS3 outselling the 360 in North America and Japan combined which doesn't even include all of the other territories where the PS3 reigns supreme (over the 360). I really don't see how anyone can construe this as a failure, unless they expected the same type of numbers as the PS1 and ...
He went into the demo expecting to hate it based on word of mouth and ended up not liking it. Then he went on some forums where a lot of people thought it was decent, so not trusting his own judgment tried the demo again and surprise surprise, he found it decent this time. What a lemming.
The suit is not free. It costs 99,000 credits.
about the score, we're pointing out that the reviewer clearly didn't like the game at all as he just ranted about "flaws" for 4 pages and then gave it a stellar 9/10 score. The final verdict and what he wrote for 4 pages don't mesh which leads one to believe something is up.
and then throws out a 9/10 score. Sounds like he hated the game but gave it a 9/10 to prevent backlash and be in-line with all the other reviews that will give it the same score.
Biased and ignorant? Take a look into a mirror. Oh, and I'd sure love to borrow your time machine.
Why is it that we know so much about the backend of games nowadays? Message boards are always arguing about the heads of the big 3 console makers, what Kojima said, what Itagaki says, what Igarashi says, what Bleszinski says, what Newell says, what Carmack says, what Jaffe says, the list goes on and on. Back in the day all we knew was the name on the console and the games we played. There's too much extraneous crap now with little to no gaming. Who gives a crap about the PR crap the company s...
that LR and IU are sub-par efforts and didn't care that IU isn't on their console and LR is a timed exclusive for the 360. No wonder SE likes MS now. They're so gullible and will pay through the nose for mediocrity.
The story is on par with DQ titles? Since when did a DQ title have an amazing involving story?
At least in North America. Why? Because NA has the worst broadband infrastructure in the world. Because of this fact, people will not be sitting there downloading 25-50GB HD movies. And not to mention bandwidth caps being placed by ISPs which will charge you for going over. AND the fact that people are materialistic and will choose a hard copy over a digital copy the majority of the time. Maybe in the next 50 years if NA invests billions to overhaul their infrastructure and the new age kids h...
This really isn't pertinent to SW but it just made me think when someone mentioned the downloading of BD movies is a cinch in Europe.
NA has some of the worst broadband infrastructure in the world. This is the primary reason why digital distribution is completely unfeasible for the next several decades, at least in NA. The throughput speeds are much too slow for HD content and at least in Canada, bandwidth caps are in place. Now if they price the media cheap enough to offset t...
EBgames has a promotion running right now where if you preorder the game, you can return it within 7 days for full store credit. So, yes it's store credit but you can pickup another new release title down the line with it such as Resistance 2 or Prince of Persia. 2 games for the price of 1. You can't really go wrong.
Why did you include Epic Games in there?
