He really should have killed himself at the unmarked grave. It would have made for a far more emotional and impactful ending. Snake going through hell and back to save the world one more time, full well knowing that he won't live long to see the world he tried so hard to protect. Even still he does it because that's the hero he is. And then bam, one last thing to do...

So to you, Mario 64, Halo, Gears of War, DMC1, MGS1, are not genre defining games? Those are all exclusive titles.

He wants SE to stop rehashin FF and wouldn't you know it, he's got two cliched main characters. Effeminate dude with long hair and an over-sized sword with a prissy female character with an animal. Wow, way to break the mould there Sakaguchi!

I play RPGs to play the game itself, not play dress-up with characters.

Wasn't easy for me. I missed out on the trophy by 2300 orbs.

Pretty soon? That's all it has already.

Um what???? So you're telling me that the Gamecube wasn't expensive? The DS, DSLite, DSi, DSXL aren't expensive? The Wii isn't expensive?

You're paying through the nose for those vastly inferior products!!

Agreed. But what got me is the metroid way of doing things. This is BATMAN. The man with every gadget imaginable. The man who's prepared for anything and everything. But I can't rip out a grate cover cuz my grappling hook doesn't have the attachment for it.

The man is a physical wonder with every martial art known to man but I can't just reach up and take out a great and jump in without an attachment.

To make matters worse, he actually visits the backup batcave and h...

Add in the 2 gears skins you can use and it is gears. Lost Planet 2 has no identity as far as I'm concerned. 2 gears characters and Wesker from RE right out of the box. It feels more like a multiplayer online game with no identity of its own.

Of course he's entitled to his own opinion but not when it makes him look like a total hypocrite. Even his latest games, Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon had long openings. It's not like he turned over a new leaf since leaving SE.

Also, he had sequences that couldn't be skipped as well. The guy is just talking out of his ass because he hasn't made a good game in decades.

The intro to GoWIII isn't long and recaps the story of the first 2 games. The actual intro to the g...

um no they can't just release another one in a month. Maybe not even a year. The amount of dialogue that needs to be written and recorded is astronomical. Not to mention the programming needed to make all the new animations, branching paths, level design, etc...You're kidding yourself if you honestly think they can bang out another game in a month. Since the engine is complete, it would probably take less time but not that much less.

Just because you bought a game or movie doesn't mean you own it. All you did was purchase a license to play/view it. Downloading a game is the same thing, you own the license to use it.

If that was cut, who knows what else was removed from the 360 version. As insignificant as that scene may be, it's still lost content.

Why shouldn't we turn on our PS3's? It's a firmware issue, not a PSN issue. People who never went online with their console are reporting the same problem. Not turning on the machine isn't going to fix the problem.

was on PS2.

My guess is that he did want to make it for PS3 as an exclusive but Konami said no. So Kojima put it on the PSP instead and MGS:Rising is multiplatform with Kojima's involvement in name only.

They always say each play through will be different due to procedural level creation, etc...but it never ends up that way. Sure the experience is slightly different but not to the point where you tell yourself, "OMG I HAVE to play that again but take a different path!" Because when you do, it's really not that different from what you did earlier. No game is fully open-world or completely procedurally created. There are set paths that you have to follow because it's a "PRE-PROGR...

That's not the reason why. The primary reason is that white people don't want to play as an oriental man set in an East Asian country.

are still dwarfing those of the 360. Of course people off the street don't factor in but MS is wasting their time and money with these advertisements. It's absolutely ridiculous that they don't know their core audience.

JRPGS, actually most japanese developed games, don't do well on the console because 360 owners like western developed games. That's why they own a 360. PS3 owners tend to favour eastern developed games which is why they own a PS3.

MS should just focu...
