I strongly disagree, you can see "all-time" and "recent" reviews, and they both up as separate scores (technically, all-time takes recent reviews into account). Then you also have "Product Provided for Free" and "Item Refunded" in automatically in the review (reviewer can't fake/change it). I'd take Steam reviews over any other review system, the only downside is how good the customer is at writing a compelling for/against review for any given g...
Japanese Spider man is a thing anyway, I wonder why they don't try to do a big game with franchises like Kamen Rider or Super Sentai, they have plenty for material to make massive games for them, but then again, those franchises are relatively unknown in predominately English speaking countries.
Honestly, it looked like a poor man's Skyrim in space, and it turned out more or less how I expected it too.
Yeah, not going to get a win out of Japan, that's for sure.
@Hofstaderman
You can already see them building up to this, especially towards early days of Game Pass, they're getting ready for a transition to a sub only service. I don't really trust them as a publisher though, they've mismanaged all their studios.
Doesn't Xbox trail in most countries, especially now? Even my friends who were die hard Xbox fans only own a PS4 and skipped the Xbox, I don't know anyone who owns one now.
Idk, a lot of studios seem to be relegated to making low tier rubbish (Rare) or just endless, mediocre sequels (343), they just seem to sit quietly in the background somewhere.
@Minute Man 721
GT was always a sim game, I never known it to not be. I miss the more arcade-y experiences like Ridge Racer, there was nothing quite like that game where you drift at high speeds through the levels listening to that sound track.
I hate when they do this, why should it be mandatory for me to connect to the internet just to play single player? Multi-player is a no sh*t sherlock it needs internet, but if I'm playing through the story or grinding single player, there's no reason that I need the internet for it to function.
@neutralgamer1992
I miss couch mutli-player so much, I've skipped Need for Speed games because they tried to force online for just Single player.
@Class_Viceroy,
As long as the game is still fun and very playable, it's hard to tolerate the bugs in Cyberpunk, and Pokemon Violet/Scarlet was bad at launch. I've played Violet for 20+ hours and I've only seen one bug where I mistook a wild handbag walking itself for a Pokemon, hilarious, but by no means game breaking.
@MrNinosan,
When you think about it, they had a few great franchises, it's sad to see what's come of them compared to their heyday in the 360 days, the worst thing, people were already making fun of Halo in the One X days.
@Notachance,
Yeah, Microsoft is not saving Activision/Blizzard, they can't manage the studios they already have, let alone new ones, plus, we could already hear the death rattle coming for Activision/Blizz...
A lot of people could just be playing it PC.
We should make this a thing, make it part of the awards ceremony.
I thought it was my internet, but it's only this site that's constantly dying and freezing up.
The reputation from those games really help push their other titles, Armored Core was always my favourite franchise from them, but it's never enjoyed the popularity it has now. Which is a pity, since the difficulty of Armored Core should be pretty appealing to the fanbase of those games.
@cl1983suxboyz
In Japan, they have Papa Katsu, for Xbox, we have papa Phil.
@Abriael,
I have to agree with this, the extra resolution really does breath new life into old graphics, they look sharper/cleaner, and that's without any texture packs added.
...They still make them? I though production ceased a while ago.
No more acquisitions! Microsoft has more than enough, how about they actually make some games for once? And not mixed bags or low tier garbage, their output is woeful for the amount of studios under their belt.
Seriously, go touch some grass.
I agree, you would think the regulators would have some experience and take the time to examine the deal and what the possible consequences, obviously any company consolidating with all the smaller players is problematic. Nothing but a massive fail in the end.
I see this as an issue more and more, make bad game, gets "review bombed", it's even more infuriating when negative reviews are removed when they're legitimate reviews of a bad game. I'm pretty sure almost every review platform is guilty of that one.
