I thought they were going with one model and an external disc drive only as well, surprised we got a disc/digitial options.
To be fair, there's only so many ways you can design a box.
That could still happen, Sony given us both a slim line console and a pro console before.
An action/adventure game of DB would be fun as, even if they vaguely make it like BoTW (when you think about it, it could work pretty well), and they have plenty of material they could use as well.
This is a really good list, pretty happy with the choices here.
I don't see how a higher frame rate and denser enemy population would make a significant improvement when the core issues of the game are still present, the article even states that the enemy AI is still dumb as a rock for example.
That is literally true, last I posted about it, the game had something like 35 concurrent players, now it's even less.
After all this money spent fixing games like this, I wonder how much of a profit they did make in the end?
A fair enough I guess, I'm not the type to buy 8 copies of Skyrim or any particular game for that matter, I'd rather buy it if I don't have a copy available that I can play now (I rarely double dip and don't see/understand the need to).
I feel like hardly anyone played that game, I almost never hear anyone mention.
Strong disagree there, you have to look at the time those classics were made, there's no way they could have made Mario 64 with today's technology back then.
Those games are amazing for doing what they could with so little resources and technology available to them, there were so many limitations, watch some Youtube documentaries or something. I watched one on Pokemon Gens 1 & 2 this morning, it was fascinating what they did to get around those limitations, also...
This feels more like someone's personal list, rather than a group of people.
KH1 and 2 were pretty great, it's hard to care for the series outside of those, you can pick any reason why I think that though.
I feel like this list was compiled by one person instead of multiple staff members at Edge Magazine, mainly for some of the more odd games that I would not expect to be common on most of these kinds of lists.
I'm pretty happy that Ocarina of Time and BoTW were somewhere on the list, and both were highly rated.
Seems to be a bit of a meh list with some odd choices, there's some stuff on there I don't even recognise like Kentucky Route Zero and Inside
Would be cool, but it's a bit early to put that out, you can still buy 360 games anyway (for now), maybe some statues or model kits would be nice (some older gen consoles already have model kits). Actually, it would be pretty cool if Retroflag made Xbox cases for the new Raspberry Pi 5, I'm surprised they didn't offer a hat either.
I always thought that was COD, but I guess Assassin's Creed fits that statement as well.
It's a bit soon for a remaster of this game, you can play it on the PS5 anyway through BC.
I thought it had about the right amount of attention/sales that it deserved.
