Nah, I think Playstation will still be there, I don't think Xbox will, they already said they'd bow out if Game Pass numbers don't hit a certain number.
@maniacmayhem,
Are you new here? There's a reason he cops the disagrees and "abuse".
Anyway, I'm more pleased that Jim Ryan left, I don't really care what the circumstances were, he set Sony down a bad path. As for Xbox, I don't think they'll make hardware once this generation is done, they're relying heavily on those Game Pass numbers.
What is Sakaguchi working on nowadays? Fantasian was the last thing he put out right? That game really needs a Steam release or something.
I've only seen people say bad things about this collection, but it's more realistic to say it's a mixed bag, you get a lot of content, even if the price is a little inflated and the games themselves as bare bone ports.
From reviews that I've read, they actually have done some touch ups to the game, not enough though in my opinion, at least this is currently the best way to own the games, there's no other way to get this entire collection in one convenient spot.
People just need to stop pre-ordering, if a game is bad, or runs like garbage, don't buy it, you don't need most games on release day.
You are being disingenuous, anyway, the graphics are simple so that the game can run on more potato PCs, not many MMOs have state of the art graphics because they want as many subscribers as possible. It's a no-brainer.
I would buy all of those, still surprised we never got Ciel Nosurge off-line, back in the day, I really felt like that was going to get an English release.
I didn't even know 1 and 2 weren't available on PS4, I thought they went to everything since it was on Switch and Steam.
It's a pity Sony didn't want to help out with that, apparently the developers of Shadow Hearts (and Wild Arms) approached Sony about doing some ports/sequels, but they weren't interested. At least we're getting those spiritual successors, I also bought the Wild Arms 1 & 2 PS Classics as soon as they were available.
Ugh, give me a Shadow Hearts collection with Kouldeka, Shadow Hearts, Covenant, and From the New World.
Okay guys, you gotta explain these disagrees, or are people botting again?
When you think about it, the 360 was the abnormality amongst the Xbox console gens, it was a nice console (if we ignore the RROD), and it actually had a great selection of exclusive games. And Microsoft was never able to replicate that kind of success again, I don't think they even know how they did it in the first place, and with the direction they're going in, they'll never be able to do it again. The chances are, Xbox might not even exist after this generation is done and duste...
This is pretty much the only time Xbox actually did well, there was a lot to like about the 360 (minus the RROD).
That was the best thing back in the day, pity you can't do that these days, those parties rocked.
This, having it available for all modern systems is the best thing about this collection, it's also the first time all these games were available on Steam I believe.
This review is a bit odd, makes both some odd complaints (cut-scenes, audio, camera angles, included games, ect...) as well as some legitimate complaints (the fact that the games are barely touched or enhanced), imagine whining about having more content in the form of some extra games. Looking at the content in the collection, they actually do give you a lot of content, even at that price.
Other than that, the ports themselves are very bare bones, like the Mario 3D All St...
I agree, they all look pretty good, and you can see the progression, Spiderman 2 looks fantastic.
@raWfodog,
I'm still hanging onto my PS4, they really need to ditch it to convince people to upgrade.
@Crows90,
I also think the concept is is good, but it did look generic, the main issue is the gameplay, I don't think there's anyway to salvage that without redoing the game from the ground up.
Mario Run is the only game they've ever had on mobile though, was it the graphics that made you think that?
I'll agree that the PS exclusives have been a bit thin this gen compared to last, Xbox is even worse off though, at least Nintendo is killing it.
