Square-Enix's PC ports are so frustrating, and the worst part is, they do always go back and fix it like they did with Chrono Trigger, a lot of the time, it's the community/modders that end up fixing their ports for them.
Pikuls look cute, I feel like this is going to be a really special game when it comes out, especially with that classic feel/vibe.
The narratively looser, open-world experience is why I find it so hard to enjoy Skyrim.
I can see what you mean, 3rd person would seem typical of this kind of game, regardless, it still looks pretty good though.
This is all I want for a remake of a game, keeping as faithful to the story as possible. kinda annoyed that the reviewer wanted them to change "problematic" dialogue, but thankfully they don't have a say in what the developers do. I'm disappointed that Shoji Meguro didn't compose for the remake (he's working on Metaphor: Refantazio), so I hope they do give us a DLC option later down the track to use the original, Shoji Meguro is top-tier when it comes to music.
I download the demo on PC yesterday, it was actually pretty good (I still don't know what's going on with these franchise), after the PS2 era, I was kinda tired of these musou-like games.
I should really finish the first one, I think I only got halfway through it even though a friend recommended it.
I try to only have two or three subs at any given moment, I don't like how everything is going subscription only, I already have Netflix, Disney+ (been thinking of getting rid of that one since they can't get surround audio right), and PS+ essential.
I'm not interested in adding more, I also don't want to rent software like Office, Clip Studio or Adobe, I want to buy it outright to keep forever.
I imagine they would already pay a fee to get their games on the Sony/Microsoft stores, so does that mean Sony/Microsoft would make smaller developers pay to have their games on their? Or do they just have to find another avenue like releasing on Steam or Indie Gala or something?
@theindiearmy
I actually miss renting movies, some movies these days are not easy to find, especially if they're not on a subscription service like Netflix or Amazon, otherwise you jus...
Good stuff, but I feel like some collections like Etrian Odyssey are unappealing because of the price, or in the case of Metal Gear Solid, performance issues.
Should have replaced Starfield with something else, there's heaps of games that are much better than it.
This, I don't know how Nintendo can take a step forward and two steps back at the same time, why is it so hard to interact with my friends online over Switch? Everyone else has it worked out, and that was before the Switch released.
I'm really shocked that Halo 5 still isn't on PC yet, almost everything is ported over and that's the only Halo game that hasn't been ported.
It's practically guaranteed to come to PC as well, if that's the case, I might pick it up after it gets a discount or two.
Sweet, I'll download it on my PS4 tomorrow afternoon then, I've been looking forward to this game.
@EvertonFC,
Once again, you need to grow up, I did not expect this behaviour from you:

There's no reason I should have to buy a PS5 just to play the 5 exclusives I may/may not be interested in on release day.
@EvertonFC,
Yeah, nah, I've got backlog of over 1000 games on Steam as it is, who knows how much it is when I factor in GOG, Epic and other store front purchases. I'll probably never be able to play all those games in my life time. Then there's all the games on the Switch and 3DS I haven't finished, then I've got over 300 games on the PS4.
I think I'm as far from "RARE PC casual" as you can get mate.
@ocelot07,
...
Why not both? I really like the games and was disappointed we didn't get a third game to finish off the story, but I wouldn't mind a movie either if it's well done. Maybe it'll drum up enough interest to get us that third game.
True, but the price is still higher than I would like, I'd still like to see another $100 off that price, then I think it would be reasonably priced.
@Garethvk,
The 4080 wasn't really selling anyway, not compared to the 4070 or 4090, it was bad value for money compared to the cards above/below it, I guess they were forced to lower it's price, and just did the other cards at the same time.
Their strategy is nonsensical, I feel like they just threw a bunch of stuff at the wall to see what would stick, to very mixed results. To plying us with a crap ton of releases, to releasing bad games/ports, inflated sales expectations, to doubling down on NFTs and block chain, and even just not marketing their games up to release (looking at you TWEWY).
That and they're actually surprised when games like Bravely Default or Star Ocean Second Story R actually sell. I am ...
