It's not the first time we've been tossed a free game of this length, like I mentioned before, Ghost Wire Tokyo had one as well, not that most people noticed (I think), and I don't think that got reviewed either. Imagine complaining about a free prologue chapter you don't necessarily have to play, or at least, I wouldn't think it would be essential to the story.
It reminds me of those other short free games, Ghost Wire Tokyo had one too, I don't think anyone actually expects much from something like this, I sure as hell didn't expect much for what's essentially a prologue chapter.
Come to think of it, most of them don't even get a "professional review", you normally have to read user/customer reviews to find out if they're any good.
I still got a stash of PS1 games, maybe I should go check and see if they're okay. I was thinking of putting some of my older games (PS2/Wii) into a plastic storage tub, maybe toss some Silica gel in there too (although Silica gel won't stop disc rot).
So many games just died with that system, I'm still hoping that Skies of Arcadia gets ported/remastered to modern systems, I heard rumours about the game sometime last year.
@Number1TailzFan,
It is real time, it's more like Ark Survival though, I didn't think I would like it, but it's addictive, plus, some of my friends are playing it PC now, we all might actually agree to play a game together for once.
Pc has some pretty good stuff, don't deprive yourself, unless you really don't like Steam for some reason (although there are alternative store fronts on PC).
The up/down voting system has always been weird on this site, don't know if it's actually people or bots doing it.
That was so off the wall! I love it! I'll have to hurry up and play Death Stranding just so that I can experience this game.
This is what I use GOG for, I use that client to track what games I own on PS and PC (plus, I've manually added my PS2/3DS/Vita/PSP games on there). I just check it before I a buy a game so that I don't double up very often unless I do it intentionally.
I actually want to try Foam Stars, I have low key interest in Splatoon, but it wasn't quite for me, maybe Foam Stars will be different.
Some Xbox games are okay on PC, I bought the Master Chief collection, so there is some decent games in that collection alone. I also bought Fable some times ago, and I'll probably buy Psychonaugts 2 at some point, I've been eyeing it off on the last couple of sales.
I think that would be the best thing for Xbox, but they'll probably just close down their hardware division, you can already see that all their focus is on Gamepass.
That was a pretty good showing, I would have preferred some more new games, but I can't complain about what was shown.
I can't see them putting a lot of work into it and then giving it away for free, it must be fairly short.
I'm going to say something somewhat controversial, the last set of Pokemon games weren't that bad, it wasn't a great game, but a good game if we ignore the performance issues (and I personally didn't have many bugs).
They just need more interesting towns and NPCs (give them interesting dialogue, there's literally no reasons to talk to NPCs), interesting areas/locations (like the sunken ship and Bellsprout Tower), and some decent side quest, there isn'...
Gamer Freak, Creatures and Nintendo all have a stake in the Pokemon franchise, Nintendo especially will never let them go, I don't know how Creatures or Game Freak feels about it. Plus, the other two don't have a financial incentive to ditch Nintendo, they make mega bucks regardless. Although I think Nintendo should help Game Freak out more since they're clearly struggling, other they'll all just have to accept longer dev times and bigger gaps between games, or maybe just make...
@Phoenixwing,
Really? They always feel like AA tier to me, and I'm okay with that, I still enjoy most of them.
It's a great game, story isn't as well paced as P4, but still brilliant.
That doesn't make sense, are you sure it's not Hardware+ABK (3%+17%)? And not just Hardware that is up 20%?
More security is always great, as soon as they allowed for app authentication, I enabled it in a heart beat, can't be too careful with how smart criminals are getting.
