They must have spent a fortune on those games, I don't know if they're breaking even or making money on them, I think in their last financial report, they stated that mobile revenue was lower than they expected?
Only satisfied? This is one of the best months in a long time, three really good games are on offer.
I'd rather have PS Plus, it's been pretty damn good to me over the years.
I already bought Evil West on PC just recently, I've owned Nobody Saves the World for a long time, I really loved the first Plague Tale game, I was waiting for it to hit $30 on Steam before I bought it.
Considering the games, this is one of the best months we've had in a while.
A lot of corporations tend to go too heavily anti-labor to the detriment of their own product and services, with the help of AI, I can only see them doubling down rather then using it to supplement their current workforce and actually improve the product/service (self service in stores is a good example). Plus, they'll sell the product/service at the same price or increase it, I've seen this happen time and time again.
@Zeref,
I don't, there...
AI can already create some of the deadliest chemicals known to man, reminds me of the article where scientists where creating drugs/chemicals for health treatments, it came up with things they passed over before or didn't think of. But then they tried the opposite to see what would happen, it came up with some of the most dangerous concoctions known to man and that scared them.
I don't think this is the exact article or company I originally read, but it's still ...
This has been happening for years, people have tried to dilute the term of RPG to "anything where you play a role", which basically makes the genre term useless as everything becomes an RPG, the term just becomes too loose.
I like having strict definitions for genres because it makes it easier for me to tell what kind of game I'm looking at/expecting. It also makes it really hard for me to trust other people when they explain a game to me that I'm not fami...
Now they can't say "wait till E3" any more, E3 killed the meme, now what arbitrary target are we going to wait for?
"Halo infinite will close the gap, Redfall will decimeite Sony!" Ect...
@hduce,
But I suspect they've also cut production costs, newer PS5s are lighter and have slightly different internals which probably allowed for the discount without too much skin off Sony's nose.
Not only that, but they've put a sh*t ton of alcohol in it too.
We get these articles every month, Xbox just can't compete, not because they don't have the money or the studios, they just can't manage their resources well enough to pull out a long string of victories.
I can't even remember how many times I played through OoT, I finished that game, and collected everything so many times.
I'm actually enjoying indies more than AAA games, started playing Dredge, didn't realise how fun it was going to be, still bloody playing it.
Probably was a mistake to play any of the golden era FFs first (e.g. FF6 through FF10), it makes it harder to enjoy some of the FFs that aren't as good. I think FF12 was where major issues with the series started becoming apparent, and it just got worse from there.
I didn't really care for it that much, the only saving grace was that it had a better story than 15 (overall it was better than 15) and possibly 12, and even then, you had to read some of it through primers, like reading a book. Plus the battle system was reasonably fun for what it was, even if it was more the spectacle that was exciting for me (e.g. summoning). And to be fair, the 13 trilogy got better with every games, I still don't like Snow though.
@thecodingart,
It was the censorship and the abandonment of Japanese games that did them in for me. Having said that, if I could play my PS Classics or some of my PS games on PC, I'd still do it as long as I don't have to turn the PS4 on.
@S2Killinit,
Honestly, a Crunchyroll sub bundle is the only thing that would change my mind at this point.
@monkey602,
Really? I feel like, out of the three, Nintendo is the only one killing it with exclusives, I've probably bought more Switch games than PS game this gen. And Nintendo is exciting me more these days, which is something I never thought I would have ever said, especially 4 or so years ago.
Didn't they cause a 80% plunge in their gaming sector? Yeah, probably wasn't a good idea to go that hard.
