Yes, so much for the weak minority trying to boycott the game, meanwhile the rest of the gaming population had fun. I still haven't bought it yet though, I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan, so I was waiting for the game to get cheaper during a sale.
Ever read the plot outline for HL3? It's a pity we never got that game, the story sounded really interesting.
I still have trouble finding stuff on PSN, I think the PS4 UI and Web PSN was peak UI design.
I really wonder, if Xbox exits the hardware space, will Sony bother keeping up with game subscription model? They can't really afford to burn themselves like Microsoft does, so they might slow right down to generate some more software sales.
I guess I don't need to buy a PS5 this gen, I can just wait for the PC release.
I honestly can't see them remaining in the hardware game, not because they don't make hardware, but because they can't sell it. Hardly anyone is picking an Xbox over a PS5 or Switch, plus, they're trying to ramp up those subscription numbers.

That could be true, but I can also see this as them preparing to exit the hardware market too, getting all these deals and exculsives multi-plat before they finally do it.
I really don't think it'll find that much success on PS though, most people who wanted it, already have it on PC, or possibly Xbox. I also suspect that such a game would have low appeal to PS owners, not a lot of them are on board with the Live Service boat that Sony climbed on earlier in the gen (and Sea of Thieves isn't one of the better GaaS games).
So... When is Halo 5 coming to PC? That's the only Halo that isn't multi-platform right? Not that it sounds like one of the better games in the series. I'm really feel like it's up in the air when it comes to Microsoft's AAA games, they already bring most of them to PC as it is. And as far as hardware goes, they don't have any where near the staying power that Sony or Nintendo have, nor do they have enough high quality exclusives to draw people in.
I feel like he messed that one up on purpose, although it had me doing mental gymnastics to work out which game he was talking about.
As much as I like BoTW, TotK, I need my traditional Zelda games as well, I could not endlessly play the open world Zelda games, plus it's harder to keep those fresher than the traditional games.
I suspect going with Intel may be a mistake, but we'll see soon enough, moreso when reviews come out.
I would think Sony has does a cost benefit analysis of some sort, they have data from their previous Pro model, so they probably have a ball park figure for how much they think they can sell.
They're is a lot of mobile and low effort junk on their, you can probably half that number if you want decent games.

I normally wait a few months for "real" reviews to show, a lot of reviewers tend to be in the honeymoon phase when a new game comes out, unless it's a really terrible game.
I can enjoy games, but I can also admit that some of those games aren't that good mechanically, story-wise, ect... I just personally enjoyed them.
That, and the more time you spend with a game, the more apparent it's flaws become.

I've seen that before, ever since AI upscaling became a thing, I've kept my eye on older games that I could play with better graphics. If I play through FF9 again, I'm using the Memroia Project mod.
I agree, but I still think FF10 was pretty good still, I just haven't enjoyed an FF game after 10, except World of FF and A Ream Reborn.
The cheapest one here is $3200, but most cards sit around the $3500 range, I'm not paying that, so I'll wait for the 50 series and hopefully the cards will be cheaper.
