I started with the long blade but switched to the gun lance for something more complex and interesting to use.
...Square-Enix made a comeback? I still find there games to be hit and miss.
@Godmars290,
For some people that 1440p monitor is cheaper than a 4k tv, 4k is still priced at a premium, although it may not be in the next couple of years (I'm more worried that 4k content won''t catch up in time, so little choice in 4k movies). 1440p is still better than 1080 by quite a bit, I use little to no AA at that resolution (when playing PC games).
@Kevnb,
I have a 1440p monitor so that resolution would be very much welcomed to me.
The only problem is that the price of GPUs and Ram is really out of hand, personally I'd wait till at least the price of GPUs became reasonable otherwise you just blow the budget too easily at the moment. Unless you already have an equivalent card or better hanging about somewhere.
I don't think skyward sword is old enough for a remake, it'll be a remaster more likely.
There's no competition here, FFXV was worse than FFXIII, and FFXIII wasn't even that great of a game, it's story and characters make it head and shoulders better than 15. 15 just has a little bit of story in the beginning and the end with nothing really in the middle except for a group of men derping about in the desert.
I actually forgot about it, but I don't feel like the game was particularly memorable overall.
So many good IPs they're just sitting on when they could be putting them to work.
I'm happy with it, definitely got my money's worth from it so I don't mind that it's life cycle is just about up.
That would depend on the length of the game and how much a completion the person in question is though, I don't have the time to play as often these days so that wouldn't work for me personally unless the game was very short (less than 10 hours).
Why? You have a slew of multi-plats to choose from that have 4k (upscaled or in rare cases native), why wait on just this game.
It looks alright, it's more stylized than anything else though, it's far from awful looking. Dat water though...
I don't believe this game would do much better on the PS4 than the Xbox, it'd probably almost the same if you take the extra PS4s sold into account.
Are you trying to tell me this game is ra**ing the xone's cpu/apu? it's not what I would call a graphically intense game, is it calculating a ridiculous amount of in-game physics or something? Is it rendering and caculating the moves of hundreds of NPCs (are we talking Ashes of the Singularity here?)? I really can't see how this game would be pushing the Xone's APU hard.
I think the Pro is the sweetspot for an incremental upgrade, beefs up the APU a little, allows for checkerboard 4k, cheap price.
It really does look like that type of game (I know already I'd get bored after an hour or two), that's why I prefer set goals or more linearity in my games. e.g. Atelier Firis, chucks you out into an open world game with a time limit but gives you some goals to work towards, or Horizon Zero Dawn, you have a main story to follow but you can do at your own pace and dick about as much as you like between here and there.
Well we know Microsoft can't buy Steam and Steam can't buy Microsoft, it'd be ridiculous amounts of money at play in that circumstance. I'd be shocked if one bought the other.
I like Steam better than Windows Store, I don't know why they bothered with Windows Store, it makes Windows 10 feels to much like an oversized phone.
Valve doesn't really make games anymore and with the money they have rolling in now they probably aren't interested. As for Microsoft buying them, probably not, there'd be a stupid large amount of money involved if that was the case.
