i got Madison killed, so i never got to the love story with Ethan. i knew she was a journalist because of the pre-release PR, so i just assumed that initially she was following him for the story.
too bad my Madison died. lol.

i thought she may have been the killer, because of her unnatural interest in helping Ethan, but then i accidentally killed her off early in the game, and that crossed her off the list, and also eliminated her as a love interest for Ethan. lol (and besides, i had been spoiled about the killer's identity thanks to N4G)

i liked Madison, in that i thought she had some interesting layers that weren't explored in the game enough (like her insomnia), but i totally felt for Ethan and his plight.

that Heavy Rain was going to simply be an "interactive movie," but i think the moniker "interactive narrative" is much more apt.
yes there are camera angles that give certain scenes a cinematic flair, but there is a lot more exploring the environment than people realize. there's a lot more control of your character than you think.
i also think the decisions made in Heavy Rain are deeper, and more impactful than those in Mass Effect.

i simply don't understand the hatred for this game. i understand differing opinions, but i really feel that the gaming press is COMPLETELY OFF THE MARK with White Knight Chronicles.

while playing that segment, i was just going through the paces of being this guy waking up in the morning and going through his routine, but it isn't until his wife and kids get home, and you have those interactions with her and the boys, that that intro really starts to affect you.

i only have a 20gig 360. i refuse to pay what they're asking for 120+gigs, when i can get a 320gig HDD for my PS3 for $40.

Mass Effect 2 is a great game (with some irritating flaws in certain areas), but it has nothing to do with Final Fantasy XIII on the PS3 or 360.

very few 1st and 2nd party PS3 exclusives have installs.
some of the most impressive, Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 don't have any installs at all.
