The game (bf2042) is a mess on xbox, probably ps5 too. The pc version looks great besides a few minor bugs. This xbox footage really looks bad.

They made 6 free dlc and a br mode. You can get full 64 player games 24 hours a day still. (on pc) I'm glad they made a new bf game with modern weapons. Tired of using old ass guns + choppers are back.
There are a bunch of pc sites that do better benchmarking than digital foundry. I don't know how any one can take them serious after their gears 5 "test". I guess for console people digital foundry is one of the only sites but it's rather pointless if they are biased to the point it affects their "testing"

Destiny has been consistently in the top 10 - 20 games played on xbox since it came out. It's at 12 right now, but HALO 5 is 49. So say what you want but it's clearly more popular on xbox

Of course they care. They only make money on xbox live ..from consoles. Not to mention 30% of all third party game sales. On PC they have to pay steam 30% of their sales because pc users don't like xbox live (even though it's free on pc)

Why would it need gamepass? Any game you have on steam is usable on this isn't it? Steam library is way better than what gamepass offers and you don't have to pay a subscription fee. You can play 99% of games on xbox plus way more games that aren't on xbox.

Actually HALO 5 isn't event in top played games on xbox. HALO MCC is but those were the games made by Bungie. Destiny2 is also top 10
Not just console sales. Games make them money, playstation sold almost 2 billion games, while xbox had to put all their games on pc because they weren't happy with sales. Also, every 3rd party game sold better on playstation. (they were always top earners for 3rd party)
HALO 5 is not even in the top played xbox games list. When HALO was in its prime (XBOX 360) it was always in the top 5 games played the entire life of the console. HALO 5 isn't even top 50
