Yeah they had marketing rights in America. All the commercials for FFX3 had xbox 360 at the end, no mention of ps3 and it still sold like 3 time more on ps3. They ran commercials during nba playoffs and finals, so it was an expensive marketing campaign.

How about what's left of Playground Games? Isn't this the second studio made up of former playground devs? Aren't they supposed to be working on Fable? Has there been any footage shown of it? I think they should just make a new ip, and not be restricted by the past Fable games, since they weren't that great anyways.
The quality will suffer. Look at HALO infinite. It launched around the same time as BF2042, both games had bad launches but bf2042 was trashed and HALO was praised. BF2042 is by far the better game today and has better support. EA, one of the most hated companies, is doing better than Microsoft in supporting their games
I think most of the "crowdfunding" they get now is from people buying the game or buying ships. They have over 200,000 mau. Yes it's still in alpha, but anyone can buy the game and play.

If they were the same spec, they would've suffered the same stock issues ps5 and series x had. Series s has been in stores selling when ps5 and series x were being scalped for around $1000. Which would probably see xbox trailing even further behind in sales. That wouldn't be good either because Microsoft just might give up like they did during the xbox one gen and just focus on backwards compatibility and not spend money on developing new games

Because they make millions off of call of duty without owning them. I think they had like 70% of console sales. Owning them means they have to pay the developers and all the other costs of owning a major publisher. Microsoft buying them is totally anti-competitive and should be blocked.
